Whether its about Loki not having a hybrid form because they don't want him to do dramatically better than his previous performance (when they are already twisting themselves into knots trying to argue that ACTUALLY Luffy did 100x better against Imu than Base Loki......somehow. 😅), or as a false equivalence to the Egghead stuff.
You know, the "Luffy isn't holding back abilities we know he has, have seen him use many times, and have no restrictions whatsoever on their usage, (while getting visibly frusttated over failing to beat his opponents and there being legitimate conaequences for his failure) for literally no reason. It would be beyond stupid to believe he can just oneshot all of his opponents if he wants to and just....isn't." arguments that people with a shred of common sense were using?
The people claiming Loki doesn't have a hybrid are just trying to argue its the same thing, to justify their previous takes. They are trying to be clever and "use the same logic", when a better comparison is Kaido not using hybrid against Oden solely because Oda didn't want to show that off yet. So its a mix of weirdly defensive Luffy fans (which I don't get; Luffy will always end up the strongest eventually, theres no reason to fight so hard to argue he is the strongest NOW), and people who are desperately trying to latch onto it to justify previous agendas.
