Even though this is gonna provoke and thus reinvigorate that stupid endless argument again, this is still hilarious^. It's gonna fly over a LOT of people's heads though.
I really liked act 3 up until about 10 chapters ago, then everything got so convoluted and rushed and now it’s made Wano as a whole feel like an amalgamation of forgotten plot lines and unimportant focuses on side characters
Doesn't it add to the spectacular wonder and mystery of Wano though?!
This was clearly all part of Godas magnificent and thoroughly prepared planning and definitely not improvised at all, with no retcons, dropped plotlines, death fakeouts or anything!
A masterpiece truly! Other series can only DREAM to be like One Piece and Goda-sama!
Because Oda extremely emasculated Sanji over the timeskip especially and that became the fuel for Sanji haters and emotionally constipated dudes obsessed with fragile, stereotypical masculinity and such.
Sanji has been Odas punching bag for a long time, the butt of his jokes and such.
Rule 1 : Oda doesn't like giving us what we want, despite blatantly baiting us and giving us false hopes. Setting up parallels, trails and such for no reason.
Rule 2: Oda hates people predicting his story and has admitted to trying to change it if they do. He's extremely petty like that. Look at how he teased ZKK then gave us a discount, extremely anticlimatitic version with Zoro vs King and purposely making Zoro suddenly miss with Hiyru Kaen for some NONSENSICAL/ILLOGICAL reason. Also see Kaido's backstory and so on.
Rule 3: If you ask for deaths constantly, he will kill off characters you like and give them unceremonious sendoffs, whilst having other characters with massive death flags constantly cheat and make a mockey of death and thus the ones who actually die and have died too.
I’ve read some of his stuff and he seems pretty levelheaded most of the time. He never hates just to hate or loves everything just for the twitter likes
Nah, Kaido being defeated in a similar way to Doffy is poetic justice since he shit talked him before because of that loss, and we had last chapter as the closing of the war, seems like everyone forgot about rhat
How the fuck did Kaido never fight an Admiral on-screen. How did Garp not come up too?
Such a fucking joke and waste.
What happened with Kaido and Shanks before? Are we supposed to keep waiting and guessing? Having vain hope/cope that it will be answered in a fucking SBS/Vivre Card/novel or whatever? Or even "just wait, Oda will surely tell us in a future arc, be patient you entitled, impatient spoilt fans!"

Seems like he's gotten better than when I used to be on Twitter a lot and see his posts. Granted I saw his stuff years ago, before the pandemic and around WCI and after that though.

Both of them did have God/Heavenly/Deity symbolism to be fair too. They looked down on others and acted like they were above everyone. In Kaido's case, especially literally too.

Oda leaking his own drafts because he's terrified @VegaPank might leak them again and he'll have to change the story and bait us even more now, SMH.
