I hope they either amp up the scene next chapter or somehow still make the same joke land twice, because it's genuinely one of the funniest chapters of the whole OPM manga

Yeah. They just played the punch line way before the set up.

Probably has something more planned I guess.


But, this has been one of my frustrations with the Manga adaptation of the webco.

They feel the need to foreshadow EVERY SINGLE Plot point or Joke from webco if they're adapting it. And more than a handful have been ruined exactly because of that.

The joke was set up and executed to perfection in the webco. Just adapt it 1:1 ffs
