It was none other than God valley . Its just crazy theory of mine , but there is something more to this island i ll come to this .

We know from Marco's discussion with Nekomamushi there was previously a name for Onigashima . However , lets look into this more deep 20 years ago what were the reason whitebeard crew's ship ended up in wano what were they looking for ?

The very reason is whitebeard 's destination was the onigashima island and that's why marco remembers the original name of it because they were meant to reach there.

There is more to this Onigashima island and its past ? I would say so , so far world government /cp 0 are blackmailed by orochi to deliver them warship and even gone to height to bring him vegapunk. Now is WG scared only because of kaido or something world will find out about connection to wano ?

Kaido and big mom alliance was also coincidence its akin to their revival of rocks when they formed alliance to invade God valley . I know its stupid theory but lot of things make sense why there is such mystery regarding wano and onigashima . This chapter gave me something of Onigashima is special island .

Yes precisely and marines were made to scaremonger the samurais were really powerful turns out World govt has created myth around wano .

it's clearly not a random island

we can see body of a giant near 2 KM tall with a sword near 700 M is there

but not being random don't mean = connected to the island of gods

WB admitted it himself that it was his first time in Wano when their ship crashed near the shores of Kuri as they took the usual waterfall route to enter the country.

So it's practically impossible to say that WB fought on Onigashima 38 years ago when the conventional way of entering Wano is through that waterfall itself.
This is one among the many reasons I could use to disprove this theory of yours.

Well its just crazy theory regarding God valley however isnt onigashima the place for worshipping gods to wano people ?

There is so much coincidence we dont know about this island. We are talking skull island and sword but whatever we never got to know there were less info on onigashima in flashback.

Oda bringing up godvalley at the time luffy was preparing for battle against kaido in onigashima is kind of moving toward coincidental plot.
