Ousen is still goated. He may be Hara’s magnum opus in the end.
Here’s the truth about Hango. Hara is entering a period of history where Riboku solidifies himself as a practically unbeatable commander. This is a period where the Qin will come to a realization that Zhao will never fall with Riboku alive. Ergo, Hara is about to hype the fuck out of Riboku because we are entering the era where Riboku establishes himself as one of the four greatest generals of this era.
Ousen ain’t there yet, but he will be there one day and when that day comes, it’s like Akou said. All of China will be in shock of Ousen’s glory lol.

I don't think there's a lot of difference in ability when it comes to current and EoS Ousen, he will have stronger subordinates though
Maybe experience can play a role but there's no sudden jump in ability
Everyone is beatable with the right circumstances
Look at the measures Riboku went through to beat Ousen
-Using terrain advantage to construct an entire city in a single year, solely to trap one of Ousen's commander
-The use of the hidden power of Seika
-Qin lacking intel on Seika, while Zhao knows how each Qin general operates
-50k advantage
Basically, drawing Ousen into a battle he thinks he can win. This is the minimum you can do to trick him.
Riboku literally risked his life for his ploy to work
Ousen already beat Riboku
Other legendary generals like Hakuki and Renpa are the same
I think he'll probably have Shin as his vice-general now. If not then Ouhon.. or maybe combo of Ouhon-Mouten.
The only evolution left for Ousen is:
- Having insanely talented commanders. His present didn't compare to Rinshoujou,Ouki,Riboku, renpa, Yotanwa vassals. His goal is to be King but he lacks this important factor compared to Yotanwa and Sei.
- Dawning martial mode. The idea a member of the Ou family isn't going to be a martial powerhouse just doesn't work for me. Shukai was already a hint and now with Martial Might being a glaring weakness of his army being exposed, it's about time he got into his Ouki/Ouhon hybrid phase properly. He doesn't need to be a Frontline commander. Ouki was a Frontline commander who also enjoyed long distance warfare. Ousen would become a long distance commander who can also do Frontline work.
His life is what he holds the most precious and his general style is done around that, making sure his own life isn't put at risk. The evolution would be him now going after his goal with putting his life on the line.
