Indisputably Johan is the single greatest villain in Manga history. In fairness, Griffith does come close, with the difference being that Johan is a much better foil for Dr Tenma than Griffith is to Guts (would've said Griffith was a better foil pre-eclipse, but he wasn't a villain then). Also, Johan plays a larger role than Griffith in the overall story of Monster compared to Berserk, as it's clear Miura set out a path that might lead the story to not caring about Griffith at all (overcoming the urge for revenge) - we'll have to wait and see what the creative team do.

And then there's Meruem, who is just like, idk, above average (why is he in this poll?) i guess. Meruem isn't even the best HxH villain (Hisoka/Chrollo). If you wanted to add more interesting options to the poll, there are many better than Meruem you could have included like Light Yagami (Death Note), Askeladd (Vinland Saga), Friend (20th century boys), Tetsuo Shima (Akira), Gendo Ikari (Evangelion) and Funny Valentine (JoJo Part 7 - Steel Ball Run)as a couple of examples
