So... Oda took the Monkey King myth, and split it into Luffy/Nami? That's such great writing.

Nami and Luffy beat Buggy, and Cracker, showing their ability to deal with top-level-threats.

I think Nami and Luffy will have one more fight together, and it will be amazing.

Against Buggy, Nami was hesitant. Against Cracker, Nami was with Luffy, but still unsure, and having to hide. In their next fight together, Nami will aid Luffy as his equal, and fight beside him as his Queen.

Thank you so much, your post made me think of so many new ideas regarding Luffy and Nami!
Don't forget Enel.
Nami was key in that battle.
Enel could be foreshadowing Imu
Skypiea as whole is important arc.

The blueprints for the weapon to counter Pluton were passed along the shipwright masters of Water 7.
In the One Piece world A shipwright does not necessarily entail a person that only builds ships, but it's more like a engineer whose specialty happen to be ships. Meaning they are good at building all types of shit.

Which leads me to believe that they had blueprints for either: 1) a ship, 2) an airship 3) basically any movable thing that can also store weapons

That does not mean that Pluton is any of those things I mentioned. But it would be the safest bet.

I don't hate the idea of Pluton being Oars' ancestor but I also don't believe it will turn out to be true
Your line of thinking could work with mine. Rather than build a ship out of nothing, take the skeleton of the strongest being in known history (the original Joy Boy) and use it as a base to build a ship?

I would love to see Franky trick out a giant skeleton and turn it into a war fortress.

Maybe I just took Pluton being a classical ship for granted all these years so a new line of thinking seems so alien to me.

It's a cool idea either way, whether it turna out to be true or not

Also, whatever Pluton is it would be great for Green Bull to take hold of it and take it for the WG. Give them a W at least

It will be cool if some ancient weapon ended up in wg hands.
Tama to counter Poseidon
Sunny to counter Pluton
Nami to counter Imu ??? (Uranus)

If SSG isn't some overpowered thing that can counter the ancient weapons then the WG really needs at least one of them in their hands.
Gotta make things interesting somehow
Good points, for a long time, I've been wondering how the WG/Marines could handle an actual full on pirate alliance. Even if a lot of pirate in the series are self-serving, they're not stupid: they would side with Luffy's alliance, rather than the WG/Marines.

Having the WG steal the Ancient Weapons would be a great hype moment/power stabilizer.

Luffy and allied are too overpowered now. Even some marines gonna betray soon. It will be one-sided if Wg didn't get anything.

Tama fruit and Sunny does give some sign of it happening.
