Kaido avoided it. You can see a cloud of huffing around his mouth. And like, how could Zoro intentionally miss? He can control the direction of attack.

Zoro is angry at Enma and yelling "Damn it! Missed". I think it's pretty clear that he missed. Kaido is shaken by "Oden's aura" as he states himself, not Zoro lol.

I still think Zoro would have damaged Kaido, but let's tone it down. The move btw, is the some move used on Ryuma, and it's called something like "Flying Dragon: Fire Blaze" which is ironic because he literally just cut a Dragon's Fire lol.

So coincidentally that one attack was the only attack out of all of them that missed.

it's not hard to move your head back and avoid a slash.

Zoro is not angry at enma . He literally missed because kaido dodged . You have to get over your obsession with downplaying zoro. It’s distorting your perception. I guess that’s what happens when you say kaido isn’t zoros fight for so long . Sucks to be you buddy

There is a reason why Big Mom stated that Kaido "underestimated" Zoro afterwards. He didn't defend against it when Big Mom told him to.

Kaido literally has not moved at all from the same spot. Why is Zoro yelling at this sword if Kaido dodged? And why did Big Mom say "you're underestimating him".

The narration is very clear. Big Mom screaming to Kaido, "Dodge!". And there's a movement draw on Kaido body after Zoro finish his attack.

In anime all of this will be clear with motion, of course.

well big mom warned him. Good intuition on big mom. Kaido was almost one shot this early by zoro

He literally dodged the attack, you can tell by the panel vantage points.

At the end of the day the poll will be a pretty clear indicator of which answer people will lean towards
