Theory Power of love is probably the "true" form of Conqueror's haki

Joyboy's Haki was the strongest burst of haki in the series so far, it frightened Imu but wasn't filled with Hostile emotions according to Dorry and Brogy. Its not just because it wasn't directed at them; I would say the reason it was so strong and frightened Imu was because it was haki that came from loving emotions.

"colour of the supreme king" may be more accurate to its true nature than "conqueror's." We have seen that good kings are those who rule by love and are loved by their people, like Cobra, Riku, and Dalton. Also, luffy doesn't want to conquer, he wants freedom and adventure. Loving adventure = loving the world and all its sights. There is a reason Luffy always wins in the end when all the people of the island are putting their hopes in him and he does it for the sake of his friends. A true supreme king is not a conqueror, but a lover. Often Luffy is willing to die and not achieve his dream because he loves his people so much and has to help them.

No coincidence that the "missionary of love" is the one to know how to combat the gods knights. Roger and garp needed to combine the "mass" of their haki to defeat xebec. I think its clearly shaping up that the mass of haki can be greater when you use it to protect those you love or whatever vs just to subjugate others. Sanji's conversation with Gaban probably had Gaban say something cryptic about love to him.

Loki is a deliberate choice to tag along here here because of his struggles with honest emotion and love. Mosa knows he is kind, but Loki wont admit it, so he will struggle to defeat holy knights

very common trope from monsters inc to FMA, where the true form/more effective form of the power is much kinder and more peaceful.

I always thought PoL is just another term/form for Conq Haki in a way
Yeah if haki is willpower basically than the will to dominate or the will to protect those you love are both sources of extreme will. As we saw with kuma though love can perform feats that surprise the very top of the world government, who are the definition of conquering tyrants.

Joyboy/Imu are probably like this too,
I’m sorry.

im not even saying like “oh bro i love this move” I just think it’s likely.

Good theory, but I would hate if PoL was just conquerors haki. It feels like a massive Deus Ex Machina for everything. Rather it would be cool if PoL is an ability which serves as a precursor to Haki. Might be something that Nika used.
