General & Others Prometheus and Hera might be gone

For a while I was wondering what happened to both Prometheus and Hera after Big Mom's defeat, when Big Mom was falling to the ocean during the rooftop battle we see Prometheus going in to rescue Big Mom but when she was falling from Onigashima after the Kid and Law fight we don't see Prometheus or even Hera coming to rescue her.

The manga doesn't make it clear on what happened to them however in the anime with episode 1066 and 1067, they kind of make it clear on what happened to both Prometheus and Hera and why they couldn't save Big Mom.

In episode 1066 when Big Mom creates Misery, we see that Misery is pretty much a combination of both Prometheus and Hera powered up by Napoleon.

In fact Misery's voice in the anime is both Prometheus and Hera's voice combined.

Then in episode 1067 when Kid and Law defeat Big Mom, after Law cuts Misery in half we see that the homie starts to disappear.

Basically Prometheus and Hera are combined to create Misery and then during Big Mom's defeat after Law cuts Misery in half, it then starts to disappear.

Overall that would explain what happened to Prometheus and Hera and why they didn't save Big Mom.

So yeah both Prometheus and Hera might be gone, Napoleon is probably still around though.

I could be wrong about this whole thing but the anime does it make it more clear on what happened to them.

In the manga after Law cuts Misery, we never see the homie again and we also never see Prometheus and Hera again either.

That either means that Big Mom is still alive or it's also possible that a homie such as Zeus can still live even if Big Mom herself is dead.

It was never confirmed that a homie will die if Big Mom also dies.

Homies like Prometheus and Hera don't die to physical attacks even if they are coated in haki. This is a inconsistency that should have been caught by the editor but oda wanted out of wano asap.

Oda forgot about them. The same thing happened when BM became O-Lin. Prometheus vanished for no reason

Law's Room allows him to control the world within it, if his sword was still coated in Kroom, it's possible it could damage them, if Law's control of his Room overrides their strength.

So, more or less, if Law's DF power is stronger here than the Homies, his Room could cut them is what I'm saying.

We saw zoro cut Prometheus into several piece several times and it did nothing. The only one who cut a homie is brook slashing it with special soul powers. Law powers would need to cut the soul.... which it was never mentioned to be able to do.

I doubt it. Cutting homies in half doesn’t kill them. Even King Baum wasn’t killed when he got cut in half.

Misery probably went to go save BM after she recovered from Law’s attack.
