This is the findings of my research for Carrot. I knew she would rise to power or queen like status but I wasn't sure how. This is why I speculated she would marry Momo due to him and luffy sharing traits from leading characters like the jade emperor. I wasn't sure how she would become royal but I knew she would.
Carrot was mentioned as a King's Bird in the manga. I narrowed down her inspirations to a few birds. Kinglet, Mocking Bird, Kingbird.
kinglet. This bird mimics carrot very closely. According to some folk tales, the kinglet became the king of birds by sneakily hitching a ride upon the mighty eagle during a deciding race. The eagle carried the kinglet until it tired. The eagle was sure it flew the highest but was unaware the tiny kinglet was riding on it's wings. The kinglet flew off the tired eagle and became kings of birds receiving a golden crest on its head.

The hint to look at the love interest of various protagonist inspirations.
What's next for Carrot? My prediction is that she ends up sailing with the strawhats possibly joining the crew. I expect her to learn about and participate in the underworld of One Piece similar to doflamingo. This is based on what is known about Rabbit in Norse mythology. Rabbit are known as massagers of the underworld because they dig burrows.
A little extra...
I do not expect Yamato to join next chapter. If elbalf is the locations then Luffy representing the sun and Nami/Carrot representing the moon will be chased by wolves.... This is based on Sun/Moon Norse mythology.
Thank you and fuck all you degenerates for reading.
My research into Carrot is strangely hinting at her being more related to a queen aspects than a moon princess/servant. I was not expecting this but she does have affiliation with lions. So Carrot's name seem to imply her sulong form. There is a wild carrot called the Queen Anne's Lace Herb. The flowering part of this carrot is all white except the middle which sometimes has a red dot.
The legend behind the Queen Anne’s lace is said to have been named after Queen Anne of England, who was an expert lace maker. The Legend says that while crafting away, Queen Anne pricked herself with a needle and a single drop of blood fell from her finger onto the lace, leaving the dark purple spot. This spot on the lace came to represent the bud at the “lace-like” center of the flower. This flower is also known as a bird nest flower due it naturally forming a home for them as they age. An old saying to identify a wild carrot from a poisonous look alike is to remember the stem is hairy which comes from the saying "The queen had hairy legs"

A sea fairing goddess that Carrot seems to be inspired by is Tianshang Shengmu also know as Mazu. Mazu was a compassionate sea faring goddess who protected sailors during stormy weather. She wore a bright red dress, could summon rain, sense the weather changes, and even had a special fog. These details sound a lot like Nami however not quite all the qualities fit. Some were given to Carrot.
Mazu had two body guards demons Qianliyan ("Thousand-Mile Eye") and Shunfeng'er who were know to have eyes that could see a thousand miles and ear that could hear the wind. Carrot eye and ear are extremely impressive and likely took these details. In addition to this Carrot inherited Mazu Martial Arts skills which she was trained on by a monk. Mazu used her training to beat up the two generals demons and they agreed to be her servants for life like the love struck demons they are. Carrot was trained by Pedro and she is shown to be quite the fighter.
Mazu power was described as a sudden divine lantern shining at the masthead of a ship, and as soon as that miraculous light appeared the danger was appeased. Carrot was standing on the masthead of the sunny and flashed a bright light destroying the danger of the strawhats.
Mazu has many foretold deaths.
- At the age 16 or 28 she tried to save her 4 brothers and father from stormy weather. She eventually got tired of looking and drown
- At the age of 28 she jumped all a cliff into the water and turned into light ascending to heaven
- At the age of 28 she died trying to save a crew that got shipwrecked.
- At the age 28 she climbed a mountain and flew into heaven.
There are some occasions when she does save her 4 brothers but was unable to save her father. These 4 brothers were likely Chopper, Brook, Luffy, Sanji. Jinbei however was not able to leave WCI with the crew.
This final piece relate to the wife of the Jade emperor. Mazu was also known as the queen of heaven and married to the Jade Emperor who ruled heaven, hell, and earth. They had a lot of kid. Rabbits in many cultures are known to breed quickly and become pest. The Jade emperor is seems to be Luffy. This emperor beat a demon that invaded heaven with the power of his mind. Luffy's awakening was known as the power of imagination.

Within the moive Rônin-gai where oda got his inspiration to create Green Bull there is a joyful character called obun. She lives with her brother who smell of bird poop. The movie is about samurai adjusting to living in peace. The bird poop smelling samurai cannot get his life together similar to Marco. Obun and her brother were so poor she tried to become a prostitutes but was unable to. By the end of the movie she ends up running the bar. This mimics carrot dressing up as a beast pirate in the raid and failing.
Oshin was a former samurai daughter who ends up becoming a high priced prostitute. I initially thought this represented Hiyori, however her stealing to support Co protagonist Aramaki Gennai made me rethink. Aramaki Gennai saves Oshin from a major threat at the end of the movie and takes her with him. This reflects Momo saving Yamato from Green Bull, however they never knew each other. I seriously considered Hiyori or Carrot joining because of this. Protagonist Aramaki Gennai & Horo shared traits of Zoro, Momo, and Luffy.
