Luffy: The World of Freedom: “Go anywhere and do anything!”-A world without borders. Anyone from any walk of life is able to go anywhere and is allowed to pursue any dream they have…as long as they aren’t jerks about it. Also, free food! Because, personally, I think Luffy’s already TOLD us his “secret dream”. He basically shouted it at Kaido at the climax of their fight. He wants a world where no one goes hungry.
Sabo: The World of Legacy: “Those who have fallen deserve to be remembered”-Sabo’s a good guy. But, he’s also originally a Noble. He might actually be able to bridge the gap between the Celestial Dragons and the commoners, with enough time and power. I feel like he’d constantly have statues and artwork commissioned of his fallen friends. The world might experience a new Renaissance with him in charge. And I think Sabo would try to help the poor and hungry. But, it’d also be kind of focused on the past, instead of the future. Romanticizing days gone by. It might lead to a world that’s a little stagnant. But, otherwise, better.
Shanks: The World of Stasis: “Life’s already pretty good”- Personally, I think Shanks wants to maintain the balance of the world. So, I don’t think much would change really. The weak would get protected by him, but I think he’d still allow the Celestial Dragons to remain in power. He might do away with slavery, in favor of “work release” programs, or something, though. Less slaves, more butlers and maids for the Celestial Dragons. Basically, just a slightly nicer version of the world we already know.
Buggy: The World of Worship: “That’s right, praise me more!”-Everyone would be forced to praise and worship Buggy. Maybe literally. He might turn himself into a entire religion. People will be forced to add “Praise the clown” to the end of every sentence. You’d have to have a little shrine to the “guardian diety Buggy” in your house. All the money would now have Buggy’s face on it. But, otherwise, he’s actually a pretty good leader. The economy’s booming, piracy is at an all time low, people are being fed, and everyone’s more or less happy. Buggy knows how to keep the bread and circuses flowing.
Koby: The World of the Sheltered: “I’m gonna protect EVERYONE!”-I think Koby would create a very “soft” police state. Every island would get protection from the Marines. But, he would make sure there’s some oversight to make sure the Marines protecting those islands weren’t abusing their power, too. The bad side to this is that everyone feels so protected and safe that no one wants to go anywhere or do anything. They’re TOO safe, in Koby’s world. Koby basically, accidentally, turns the entire world into the Celestial Dragons, in effect. The people of the world become spoiled children under Koby’s care.
Dragon: The World of Endless Progress: “There’s always something worth fighting for”-Dragon would probably completely eliminate the Celestial Dragons. I think after the war with the Celestial Dragons is over, he might shift his attention to the next problem. And then the next. I don’t know if he’d be able to stop himself. He might always need a cause to fight for. Something to improve. Something he sees as needing to change. This could be good or bad. With absolute power, Dragon might end up going too far. But, he would allow a good amount of freedom…at least at first. His control might tighten as he gets challenged. I don’t know about Dragon.
Imu: The World of Order and Peace: “Listen to me, and all will be well”-The thing is…the One Piece World is pretty much ALREADY Imu’s world? But, just for fun, I guess we can assume it might be more than that, with more power. Imu would end “the war”, whatever that turned out to be. Whether that means the war with the D Clan, or with something else, who’s to say? No one is allowed to leave their island, forcing everyone to stay where they are born their entire lives. But, piracy is also eliminated. Slavery is allowed to continue. But, the heavenly tribute is reduced because they don’t need the money to fund weapons for their “war” anymore. The Celestial Dragons are still allowed their “fun and games”. But, it’s no longer necessisary to eliminate entire islands. Imu sees all. Imu knows all. Imu controls all. But, Imu doesn’t desire fame or notoriety. Imu just wants to be left alone in the Garden. In peace. And quiet.
Mystery Man: The World of Nostalgia: “I don’t have to miss my old friends, anymore!”-Okay, so we really don’t know anything about this guy. He MIGHT be The Man Marked By Flames? Which means he likely has a Poneglyph. So, I’m just going to assume he’s old friends with Roger, protecting the Poneglyph for him. So…how about this guy wants to bring the dead back to life? What if his goal is to bring back everyone from the past that he’s lost? The problem is, he brings back SO many dead people that they start to outnumber the living. The entire world turning into Thriller Bark.
Aokiji/Kuzan: The World of Loneliness: “You are not my responsibility”-I’ll admit, I don’t have a great read on what Kuzan actually wants. But, I think his personality might shine through if given ultimate power. And Kuzan…just doesn’t seem to want to be around ANYONE, really. He’s a wanderer at heart. He doesn’t seem to have many close friends. He might not even know what he wants. And I think that’d end up reflecting in the world he’d make. He might end up keeping a eye on what happens around the world, but I don’t think he’d DO anything to help other people. He’d just be up in his icy tower watching the world go by. And I think if he were the “god” of this world, people would lose a lost of their passion as a reflection of him. They wouldn’t be sad so much as…empty. A lack of emotion around the world. People would just lose their drive. They’d stop caring about their dreams. Basically…Kuzan’s a Care Bear villain. He’s Cold Heart. And Kuzan’s emptiness ends up infecting the entire world after he takes over.
Garling: The World of Strength: “The strong survive, the weak don’t deserve life”-Tournament arcs! Tournament arcs everywhere! Everyone is forced to fight for every scrap of bread or roof over their head. Garling seems to me like a battle maniac. Like a villainous version of Goku from Dragon Ball. His entire society is designed around getting people strong enough so that they’re interesting enough to fight against. It’s all just one big game to him. The world turns into even MORE of a battle-focused Shonen manga world than it already is.
Akainu: The World of Absolute Justice: “Evil must be punished, NO EXCEPTIONS!” –This turns into a total big brother police state. You can’t go anywhere without informants or police watching your every move. If you commit even the smallest crime, you get harshly punished. Akainu installs Vegapunk’s robots to be instant judge, jury, and, often, executioner. People are afraid to leave their houses, even though their own family members are informing on each other, too. It’s all pretty Orwellian.
Blackbeard: The World of Anarchy: “Pillage! Plunder! Do as thy wilt shall be the whole of the law!”-Everyone is allowed to steal and kill anyone they like. The Marines are disbanded. They’re even hunted, since Blackbeard continues to use Cross Guild’s bounty system on them. Cities burn. Only the strong can keep any private possessions. It’s every man for himself. And eventually, everything burns and is destroyed. I could see Blackbeard eventually destroying all of humanity, just for kicks.
