General & Others Rank the Strawhats 2 year training.

#1
Rank the Strawhats on who had the Best training over the Two Year timeskip.

The Good.

1) Zoro. He had the best teacher and his training seemed the most Specialized and focused to his Sword skills.

2) Nami. Hers was best example of being perfectly suited to her skill set and her overall role as a not fighter. While not a huge jump in Combat abilities, made up by the Knowledge and tech she got.

3) Luffy. The Most Balanced training, felt very much like he improved all of his abilities. Gaining a new tranformation as well as All three types of Haki.

4) Franky. A straight upgrade. Works great.

5) Sanji. Gained Haki, and a power up, as well as training against the most skilled Fighters with the Trans fighters.

The Bad.

6) Brook. Felt weird that he even got as big of a power up as he did while touring as a Rock Star. Also appearently Trained for 5 years before to get his Shadow back.

7) Chopper. Gaining control over his Monster Point was cool, but still had a huge drawback with the time limit and not being able to move after using it. Kung Fu point was a missed opportunity, and was ugly.

8) Robin. Talk about a wasted opportunity.

9) Usopp. He really should have been up their. Total change and upgrade to his weapons and Arsenal. But completely held back by his character and lack of devolopment.

  1. Zoro. Undoubtely the greatest improvement. Since he had almost no improvement from return to sabaody until his fight with Kaido and King at Wano that means he left timeskip already YC2/YC1 strength.
  2. Luffy. Great improvement but could had being better. He lost his drawbacks with G2 and G3 which is awesome but had tough fights since Fishman(Hody almost killed him). I would say he came out of timeskip as veteran level(YC4 with G4) and became YC2/YC1 by the time of Wano(Onigashima).
  3. Sanji. Good improvement but should have being much better. He learned haki and CP-9 abilities like sky walk, water walk that are awesome and lost his drawback of Diable Jambe which is also good but he is overall not much stronger compared to monster duo. His leg breaking against Vergo shouldn't really happen and he should be able to push Doflamingo a bit more. Not only that but he couldn't do much against Big Mom veterans sons Oven and Daifuku. I would say he remained as veteran the entire New World. Raid Suit made him YC4/YC3 and gene awakening made him YC2/YC1.
  4. Franky. Massive improvement on his raw strength and weapons. Specially Franky Shogun that acts like a G4 for him putting him in a total different level. I would say he is below veteran in base and veteran/YC4 in Shogun. He didn't changed that entire New World as I see.
  5. Robin. Hard to say. It seems she hide her powers until Wano. So similar to Zoro I will say that she remained almost the same the entire New World. Came out of timeskip at veteran/YC4 level.
  6. Brook. Similar to Zoro he barely fought New World. He had a mid diff fight at Dressrosa(I don't even remember well to properly judge) and a impossible fight with Big Mom. He didn't much at Wano and now at Egghead. I give him below veteran level out of timeskip and veteran level now.
  7. Chopper. Not a single fight for him all the New World. Hard to judge. He played with Queen but was stated that he was doing barely no damage at all. His Monster Point though seems to be strong. I give him veteran level and he didn't changed since timeskip(only think that changed was his Rumble Ball giving him more time on Monster Point with a ridiculous drawback).
  8. Nami. Powerwise barely changed during timeskip but had a terrific improvement at WCI and a unfair nerf at Wano. She went from strong fodder to YC4 back to veteran.
  9. Usopp. Narratively wise he was suppose to be much stronger than he looked like after timeskip. He got a haki upgrade at Dressrosa but it was never used again so hard to say how much stronger he got because of it. He started New World as fodder and ended as strong fodder. Tanking Ulti's headbutts without haki is a great feat.

1. Zoro (self-explanatory)
2. Luffy (also self-explanatory, although Rayleigh should have explains more about Future Sight, Ryou or Adv CoC)
3. Sanji (his training is trash since Ivankov doesn't even teach him personally, but him gaining Haki due to self-taught is an impressive feat in itself)
4. Franky (his new tech is great)
5. Robin (Fishman Karate is good, but her lack of Haki training is PIS)
6. Chopper (he got better control of his Monster Point)
7. Usopp (his plants abilities is cool, but I wish he keeps the Dials though)
8. Nami (she just got better Clima-tact modification, that's about it I think, but she got two huge "upgrades" among the SHs if you catch my drip)
9. Brook (what did this man even do lol?)

Honestly the 2 year timeskip was pretty pointless for the most part. Look at Luffy for example. His G4 has never gotten the job done on its own merit when it matters the most and always needed miraculous outside help and/or plot induced stupidity by his opponents to barely scrape a victory that he obviously didn't deserve.

The only one who's training seemed to been worthwhile was Zoro as he evidently came into the Timeskip as the strongest Strawhat, but the way Oda has handled his fights up until Wano he has never been allowed to showcase the fruits of his training, and even then the only thing he seemed to have learned was Armament utilization as his strongest moves are just amped up versions of the Pre-TS ones.

So overall I think the Straw Hats would of fared better if they continued their voyage as soon as possible given that scrubs like Kidd and Law were able to learn haki and Awakening without mentorship, and Zoro and Luffy are more talented fighters than either ones.
