good tings about one piece villains is that one piece manga has variety of MAIN villains wit different goalz...everyone of those villains deserve to be a final villlain tbh : toflamingo,corocodile,kaido,blackbeard..inu sana...and otherz..


now blackbeard is supose to be main villain and probably finall villain of 1piece manga right???..

so problem i see wit black beard as villain is that he got only few pages in whole 1000 chapters of one piece manga...

like in every one arc...u only see him in few pages..

forexenple in naroto manga...when tobidara was main villain...u see him alot...in this and that chapters...plus he got lot of focus in last arcs of naroto manga...

so same ting for blackbeard...he is main and final villain...he should've had more manga panels and chapters in one piece manga...

same should be said about other one piece villains such as inu sana..

I concur about it being poorly lenghty. I hope things will change a lot once we get closer and closer.

However it has to be said that Blackbeard was introduced particularly early in the story and this heavily contributed in this. For example Kaguya was the final villain but her character was introduced so lately despite chakra existed since the first chapter of the first Naruto.

Totally disagree, I think the use of Blackbeard has been pretty much excellent throughout. He’s been a very long slow burn where we’re always little tid-bits of information about him to keep our interest in him high, with him occasionally having huge series defining moments flung in.

First appearance is actually on chapter 7 or 8, but his design changed since and no one really acknowledges that

First mention, man who destroyed Drum

Second mention, Ace hunting after him

First proper appearance, Jaya, where him and his crew being counterparts and enemies to Luffy and the Strawhats is firmly established- Blackbeard being a D is revealed. At the same time he’s putting himself forward for the empty Warlord position and we also get the ominous warning from Lafitte that the world will soon learn the Blackbeard Pirates name. Plus, another of our most hyped characters, Shanks, tells us he’s going to meet Whitebeard, this ties in to Blackbeard later on

Second appearance, Blackbeard fights Ace with the narrator telling us this will have a huge effect on the OP world. This is also after where we discover that the Yonko are a thing, that Blackbeard was the one who scarred Shanks, and that Shanks is very worried about him,

Off screen mention, Thriller Bark, he beat Ace and became a Warlord, there’s a war a‘planned.

Impel Down, him and Luffy have their first fight, Blackneard reveals he has an ominous plan and meets his very own amazing swordsman. We also learn a few names of incredible, evil pirates who have been locked away from the world in a hidden level of ID because of the extent of their crimes

Marineford, the massive one, busts out of ID with, surprise surprise, those evil pirates now in his crew. Kills Whitebeard, which is huge. Becomes the only man to ever use two DFs, which is even huger. After the arc the Gorosei takk about how very few people will be able to stop him.

After the timeskip, in Fishman Island one of the two big changes we’re told is that Blackbeard is now a Yonko, and his hunting DF users in order to steal their powers

In PH, we discover that Blackbeard is considered a member of the Worst Gen like Luffy, and that Kuzan is up to something dodgy.
In Dressrosa, we discover this is that he’s working with Blackbeard, and Chinjao tells us that Blackbeard is the only person he thinks has potential. Burgess is, admittedly, a disappointment.

Zou, we discover Blackbeard defeated the WB remnants in the payback war, and that he destroyed Baltigo

After WCI and during the Reverie, Im is carrying a wanted poster of both Luffy and Blackbeard that they then rip to shreds, meanwhile Blackbeard laughs at the idea of Luffy being a Yonko.

And on Wano, we discover that he is holed up in Rocks’ old island, and is planning to do something big. Plus the flashback information of him being someone who has never slept in his life.

Plus we get out-of-series interesting tidbits about him- he’s very interested ancient history (i.e. the Void Century, the Ancient Weapons and the meaning of D) and he named his ship after Rocks, which means all of Rocks dreams and ambitions are likely to have been inherited by Blackbeard.

No, I think the rise of Blackbeard has been, by far, one of if not the strongest ongoing storylines in OP.

don't think he is the Final Villain , but at the same time i don't think the build-ups for him being a vilain is lacking

he has been around for so long ( since Skypiea ) , and there too his beef with Luffy was started . and so far he has done some major stuff , like suddenly showing up in Marineford with Impel Down level 6's strongest prisoners and Shiryuu , etc.

also , he has build ups towards an inevitable battle with Shanks , which he and his crew will win . and if Blackbeard Pirates does get Pluton like i have been believing , it's an assurance that Oda will give Red Haired Pirates a top tier imo ( Mihawk or Aokiji ) .

and it fits , since post Wano , Luffy and his alliance will be on the news that they have defeated Kaido and Big Mom with their crews , Blackbeard Pirates have to do something as good as that , or better .

and taking Pluton + defeating Mihawk & Red Haired Pirates will top what Luffy and his alliance will accomplish .

Teach and Mihawk also has consistently appeared in the 2 previous interludes between acts , i think they will eventually be connected through the man who has connections with them both ( Shanks ) .

It's how good of a character is and the impact they have on the story matters more than just how many chapter if his been written good and i think most people agree he has been doesn't matter how chapters his been.

Also don't just say he hasn't been enough chapters and that's it ,say he hasn't been in enough to understand him as a character or gaols or he hasn't impacted the story enough to matter explain why his lack of appearances in the manga is bad.

I agree. He needs to appear more,and hopefully once we are over with this Kaido and Big Mom saga,we will get a lot of panel time with Blackbeard and also Dragon,Shanks and Mihawk.

Oda could start Luffy's journey 2 years later, and we could only see Yonko Blackbeard, not before what happened. Just like it happened with Shanks.

We know nothing about how Shanks has risen to the position of Yonko, despite being 6 years before, and despite we see Pre-Yonko Shanks at the beginning of the story.

Oda showed us how Blackbeard become powerful, he showed us Blackbeard's journey unlike he showed the journeys of the other Yonko.

This is why Blackbeard is special.

Also why are you saying Tobidara? Tobi was a sidekick of the real threat, which is called Madara. Tobi wasn't the real threat, it was Madara, just because Tobi was pretending to be Madara, that doesn't make him the real Madara. The real Madara didn't show up until the end, then Kishi decided to throw Madara to the garbage can by replacing him with Kaguya. I doubt that's going to happen to Blackbeard, LOL.
