Dragon Ball: The Breakers

I wasn't sure if to post in the DB section or here but I thought here might be better? Anyway, this looks really awesome! I've not really a multiplayer person anymore BUT this is such a clever idea, that plays on the fantastic, absolute horror aspect of Cell's debut in the series! So nice to see a DB game that isn't a fighter too, even though that's the natural genre of them ofc!

I've not followed DB since GT and I've only played the Budokai Tenkachi games which were EXTREMELY FUN, hard and hilarious and also a bit of FighterZ, but respect to Bandai Namco for going with such a bold, daring, unconventional, risky etc concept and trying to be creative and such! This has so much potential but I fear it might not get to live up to it sadly!

I am glad that there is finally an original idea about a Dragon Ball game! This is brilliant and i hope it will be a good and succesful game,so it could lead to other original ideas about the Dragon Ball universe.

Exactly! Thank you! That's what I really wanted to hear some others say too! I couldn't agree anymore, I really hope this does succeed too and we get more original and creative concepts like these, not even just for Dragon Ball but other franchises too!

WOW. This is really cool. I'm not sure about the gameplay, the movement reminds me of classic DBZ games which doesn't seem fitting for this, given classic DBZ games were clanky with flying. But the concept is stellar. And it's all dragon ball characters mostly? That was definitely Bulma from like, the 2nd arc in Dragon Ball.

And Oolong getting this much screen time.. Lol, I'm down

Hahaha, I concur completely! Oolong with the rocket launcher made me laugh so much! So great to see him get focused as you say, such a nice surprise!

This is really nostalgic like DBZ Kakarot seemed to be, it seems like they're focusing on the roots of DB and nostalgia now? Definitely not complaining, this is much better imo! Classic Dragon Ball is so damn good! I forgot to mention, I played the Dragon Ball game on Wii which focused on child Goku and it was a side scrolling action platformer/beat em up or so? It was very fun!

I definitely get what you mean about the movement too, maybe it's intentional as part of the nostalgia? Or maybe it works as some kind of "balancing" for the game? It was very awkward though, I remember struggling with it in the Budokai Tenkaichi games!

These articles are probably worth a look regarding this game too anyway:
