As someone that has had limited his reddit use to videogame and anime news, and as someone who's never even been on 4chan before. How do these 2 platforms compare to one another? 4chan is notorious for housing extremist users while reddit is infamous for being cringe.

What are you experiences in these two platforms? Which one is worse in your opinion?

90% of 4chan is porn.

90% of that porn is chicks with dicks.

The rest is a mix of different niche hobbies being discussed by people who have no filters. So you get slurs and insults more often there.

Then there's pol where most of the racist stuff comes from. But that's a little overplayed, it's watching a bunch of conspiracy theorists go at each other in a contest to see who can be the most deranged. Int and MLP are probably also up there for racism and shit

Reddit's popular opinion = correct, upvoted. No matter how incorrect it is or how repeated a joke it is. Bigger subreddits suck ass, the little ones are cool until they get popular (see prequelmemes).

Both are trash to me but 4 chan is heavily leaned to racism unlike Reddit is heavily leaned to left wing but there are good contents like educational ones are less biased . I’ll choose Reddit for educational purpose .

I haven't used reddit much but I don't suppose they're much different tbh
Also I randomly found a subreddit dedicated to.. rubbing their lambs to a dead female celebrity.
Quite the depraved bunch.
Like I said Reddit is trash as well .

I'm pretty sure last time I checked reddit was this morning but just for advice on how to fix a mobile data issue with my phone
I don't even attempt to use that site for anything other than advice on stuff, because I know if I do I'll go insane real quick.

Depends on what you do on these websites, both have good value if you’re looking in the right place
Reddit is priceless to me, I don’t have an account but whenever I need quick advise on something I just ask the question on google then add reddit. If one had to go it’s definitely 4chan lol
4chan came up with some funny shit tho

Reddit has all the day-to-day life answers. I never visited 4chan, interface is ass and I think it’s intentional to steer away normal people. All the good conspiracies and fucked up memes originate from 4chan though.
This is a pretty good point. A lot of people use reddit outside of political junkies and weebs. From what I've heard, 4chan is made by freaks for freaks.
