Viz takes liberties a lot of times too. It's not that black and white. Tbh, I sometimes feel that our translators do a better job at translating OP than viz or TCB guys. I mean they're all probably equally good as far as language goes, but you need deep knowledge of the manga to accurately translate what Oda's trying to say. Professional translators generally wouldn't spend as much time on the manga as the fans, which is why fans can sometimes give us better translations.
