Why was Roger able to gain the respect of so many that Xebec couldn’t?

Roger was capable of having 2 loyal ride or did conquerors in his crew. 3 including Oden and 4 including kid Shanks. Unlike Xebec who didn’t have anyone in his crew fully loyal to him

Garp arguably the strongest marine of the era didn’t care for Xebec as much as Roger. A man that had smoke with every pirate out on sea

Garling and the holy knights we don’t know but they likely have an interesting relationship with Roger because of Shanks

Most of Xebec’s own crew had significantly more respect Roger. Them mentioning him at their defeats and it’s likely because of Roger some of them fucked over Xebec
