Character Discussion S-Bear will turn Punk Records, Vegapunk's digital brain, intangible so it can be saved, like with Kuma's memories

Somehow lost in the sauce is the fact that the Stella no longer has his original brain, and that he has to connect to Punk Records in order to... well, use his brain.

If Punk Records is destroyed, there goes this man's brain. So, Punk Records needs to either be protected from the upcoming Neo Buster Call, or moved alongside the Sunny.

Like many, I suspect Bonney will give Kuma's memories to S-Bear, and that S-Bear will transport the Crew/surviving Punks (maybe a few others like CP0) elsewhere.

However, S-Bear is also able to turn intangible objects tangible. In this case, S-Bear would be able to remove Vegapunk's thoughts and memories from Punk Records, then place them into something/someone else. Perhaps Robin?

Either way, this is a serious problem pretty much no one has addressed in the story, yet.

If Punk Records isn't saved, all of Ohara's data is lost.

But this actually is a good idea. At first I thought it’s possible that a big reason luffy will fight for egghead is to defend Vegapunks dream, but if it can be implanted in someone that’ll give luffy the ability to escape egghead so that neither side takes a huge loss

Oda could also kill most of the Punks, and blow up Egghead, leaving the Straw Hats to need to bring the surviving Punk to Elbaf, to continue the research and rebuild.

So, Ohara gets destroyed: the Giants save the information so Vegapunk can use it. Egghead gets destroyed, but the Straw Hats save a Punk and take them to Elbaf to get the books the Giants have. That's the kind of circular writing Oda is fond of, and would give us a very big reason to get to Elbaf besides Usopp wanting to go there.
