Unironically Sanji being top 5 in popularity is lowkey crazy considering how much toei hoes him. I assume a large amount of one piece globally are just anime only too

1. Making him more incompetent like with sulong pekoms and the seraphim
2. Extending all his horny gags way too long and just adding them unnecessarily like all of fmi and the Bonney shit
3. Making scenes that should be more specific just mid

Tbh idk how high that percentage is but I’m sure it’s decent. Same with people that vote that either aren’t up to date or don’t really watch in general

Either way I do imagine his depiction in the anime does affect him for better or worse. Toei Zoro definitely helps with his overall popularity
