I mean, Oda has literally told us Sanji without a code could be a swordsman himself.
He had Judge tell him to fight with a sword and expect sword skills out of him saying he trained him. If Judge who said he was a failure at everything is expecting sword skills out of Sanji, then he must have pretty damn good swordsmanship for it to be acknowledged.
