Powers & Abilities Sanji's control of fire remotely?

Was re-watching/re-reading this scene and noticed this.

Now I don't know what kind of floors Bege has, but if it's ceramic or marble (in the anime the sound effect sounds hard) that doesn't burn that easily or catch fire from a cigarette that's looking like it's starting to burn out. But then the moment Sanji gets mad at the invitation, it blazes up, at this point he's not touching it. So that would hint to control of fire OUTSIDE just his body.

Thoughts? Why don't we see this again? Do you think we will see it again?

The clack sound also appears when the cigar hits Sanji's jacket lol.

And you can put rugs on the concrete tiles for decoration purposes.

Didn't sanji send fire to cover all of wadatsumi? It may have been connected to his foot but it was still controlled and directed

Okay, rug, carpet. Even then, the cigarette was going out. It had nowhere near enough burning to catch what it fell on. I have family that smokes, and they drop them on carpet all the time still burning with no fire. The most that ever happens is burn holes the size of the end of it in blankets or rugs. So for his to blaze that much after his anger is still kind of odd.

..I joined this forum because it seemed like a cool place to theorize (the topics I saw on google seemed really well discussed) and talk about things I noticed in my re-watch-through. But you guys are just making it stressful to even make topics now.

I just pointed out it was odd that the cigarette blazed up by his anger/emotions when he wasn't holding it anymore where one almost burned out like that would merely make a singed hole if anything. So possible remote control of fire and not just his body.

That's the hint I got. But does that mean his emotions can cause fire remotely then? Or is this a one-time deal? It had a lot of panels to be insignificant I think. And in the anime they even put extra effort into showing it go from less smoke to more till it blazed.

Maybe sometimes when sanji is extra mad he can do it, like how he almost explode in Thriller bark or when he uses Hell memories, but i dont think it will be big deal going forward. But it'd be cool idea honestly yet unlikely imo.

in one piece that stuff should also get taken literally imo. jokes are almost always also canon lore and have impact on the world. if sanji getting a nosebleed for seeing tits after 2 years can cause a whole plotline about blood transfusions him setting this cigarette on fire with his burning passion without even touching it is also lore

Well, he is heavily theorized to have some Lunarian lineage in his blood so it’s not out of the question.

Diable/Ifrit Jambe is basically pyrokinesis at this point, not at all how it was in its introduction. Something’s definitely going on there.
