Character Discussion Sanji's journey: what would you do different compared to Oda?

Baratie: about the same with some exceptions

- sanji meets mihawk and wss sees sanji's potential


Alabasta: abou the same and other arcs I didn't mention

Skypea: give him a more proper battle but about the same

EL: about the same but remove the whole Kalifa encounter

Thriller Bark: when zoro takes the damage from Kuma I would have sanji jump in and have both of the wings split the damage between them.

Time skip: would have invented some top tier cook to train sanji. Or maybe send him to get trained by Dragon himself, or judge

FI: remove the whole nosesbleed gags

PH: about the same

Dressrosa: have sanji stay a bit longer and defeat one of the seats, like trebol

Zou: same

WCI: what i would do different:
- sanji would get a proper battle, oven or daifuku and win. Have him use the raid suit for the first time there

Wano: same but have sanji on roof piece tanking hakai with raid suit+ genes. And have sulong bepo there too to compensate.

Remove the nosebleed plot from Fismen Island. If you want to use the gag Oda, let it be a gag and not a plotpoint ffs

I would keep most of his other comic relief moments/fights because it works for Sanji. Only shorten the Wanze fight, it was too long for nothing

In Acts 1 and 2 of Wano let him have a few Mr Prince moments, either with the suit or without

In WCI I could do with a nice showcase of a fully focused Sanji but it's not necessary

Honestly just remove nose bleed gag from freshman island. I get it was there to establish the human fish man blood law and show the importance of jinbe and luffy sharing blood, but it seemed like a pretty poor way of doing it

more sigma sanji Post TS is all i want taking all the crap he's been through with no redemption to his name as a top fighter of the crew

• Not have Vergo break his leg
• Main fight in Dressrosa
• Rely less on altered genetics
• Give him a main fight in WCI, Cracker could have worked

Nosebleed is needed to introduce that human-fishman blood transfusion is a taboo in the kingdom.
How would the SH realistically lose that much blood?
Especially when they're just train their whole TS and need only positive feats and showcase in that arc.

Well it didn’t have to be a straw hat. I think having chopper find an escaped human slave in terrible need of a blood transfusion but then dying since he couldn’t get one wouldve been much more impactful on the law and the distance between human and fishman. Oda just liked the joke.

Cancel the panel where his leg got cracked against Vergo because aside from that he was by far the better fighter. Have him doing better against Doflamingo, but I understand he was at disadvantage and Oda wanted to hype Doffy and didn't have much time for that fight, still he managed to do what he wanted to achieve.
Finally Oda should have given him a good on panel 1v1 win in WCI.
Portrayal wise, he is too much of a cuck and simp, enough with the nose bleed and the "not hurting women even when they want to kill me or my friends"
