Gaban is gonna start winning as expected, HKs gonna realize they can't compete until they find out Colun is Gaban's son so they gonna make him a hostage, forcing Gaban to surrender i guess... Leaving only Dorry and Broggy and the Strawhats who can do something without having the drawback of having their son made a hostage or something likely
Thats the only way i see the HKs having a chance. Colun is so hot headed he saw Luffy and jumped him right away, so it fits that he gets cocky and gets captured

Maybe Oda wants him to prove his worth.. He wanted to join the RHP after all, he wants to be a leader and he wasn't afraid of jumping Luffy... Maybe u r right
