Elbaph's actually given us a very large level of narrative evidence regarding the fate of Kidd: the Underworld is where criminals are thrown. If Shanks wanted to kill Kidd, he just would of. Bartolomeo is proof that Shanks will fuck Luffy's friends up if they cross the line, but also proof that he's very unlikely to actually kill them.
So i'm thinking that Shanks suggested Kidd be thrown into the Underworld.
And this is where Kidd and Loki met. I've talked about Kidd and Loki joining Cross Guild in a Cross Guild x Blackbeard Alliance a bit, and the bonding point is obvious: everyone here just fucking despises Shanks
Loki told Kidd hey I'll help you destroy a pirate crew that you hate if you free me, and Kidd replied he wants to kill Shanks himself. They bond over this a bit, and then, Loki gives Kidd a mission: break out Loki's Crew.
The Giants that served Harald and then joined Loki to leave Elbaph and seek justice against the WG are likely incredibly powerful for soldiers in this series, especially considering they survived Harald's rampage. I doubt they all just randomly died, and I doubt shanks killed them.
At this point I firmly believe that Shanks stoppes Loki from attacking the holy land in order to keep him from killing himself, but Loki view this as shanks the celestial dragon simply trying to protect his family
After Lucky Roux drugged Ragnir with spiked acorns, and Yasopp show Loki in the ass with sea stone a few hundred times, Loki and his Crew get defeated.
So, what gives? I think Loki's Crew lied to Elbaph, in order to maintain Harald's standing, like Loki did.
Shanks told the other Giants of Elbaph that the Castle Troops who joined Loki's Crew were threatened by him, so rather than being executed, they were likewise imprisoned.
Whereas Loki had no idea where his key was, i wouldn't be surprised if he knew where his crew was.
I like this writing too: Shanks fucks up both of their crews, and they help each other rebuild them. Kidd then uses Loki's Crew to help free his own.
I've stated before I believed Kidd is excavating Elbaph's Underworld for Ancient Tech. Just tossing Loki's Crew into the Underworld wouldn't be enough since there were so many of them and they were so strong. So?
Loki's Crew was place to be held in a prison in the Underworld under the ice. Keep in mind The giants also needed to worry about Loki's animal companions freeing his crew. There's only so much seastone in the world, and Loki's probably taking up a decent amount of the country supply, considering how large he is.
I've been trying to place Kidd and Vivi in Elbaph, and, while Vivi can fly via Pell or Morgans, Kidd was making me scratch my head.
But this is a common point between the two: both of their crews have suffered because of Red Haired Shanks.
I expect we'll see Vivi fly in via either Morgans or Pell (most out of field pick is Dragon)
Kidd? We've already seen him make floating mechs against Kaido. Who needs to climb up the Underworld, when you can make floating metal?
We'll see Kidd return with Loki's Giant Crew decked out in Punk Metal Armor, getting levitated into the Sun World through Kidd's Fruit
Another element to keep track of is that there's been a lot of narrative evidence that time passes three times as solely in Elbaph as the outside world. We see this when Gyaban tells Shanks its been 3 years since they've babe together, and Shanks corrects him saying it's been 10. Combine this the Louis Arnote line about not staying too long in Elbaph, and time dialation is heavily implied.
This means the Kidd Pirates have probably been here for a while, and Kidd's had time to seriously research Elbaph's ancient technology in the underworld. Why the delay?
I think there are caves in Elbaph's Underworld full of stronger beasts and even what's on the surface, and some of those beasts, possibly trained, have been guarding Loki's Crew. Well, everyone in the country kinda hates Loki, i'd imagine a lot of the giants would feel sympathy for his imprisoned crew, and might try to free them. This would require something to guard to guard them then that naturally lives in the Underworld
So, I think Kidd, and maybe Killer, have been fighting giant underground peace in order to try to free Loki's Crew from the underworld, so the two Crews could form an official alliance and take over the country, then murder Shanks.
Elbaph's Underworld sucks to live in, and in arctic environments like this, one of the surefire ways to stay warm is building cave systems.
I don't think the beasts we see in the Underworld are the strongest? I think they're the ones that are too weak to actually get into the cave systems. Like the humans wearing rags, the Beasts Loki befriended or not the strongest beasts of Elbaph, they're the beast too weak to get down into the warm cave systems.
If this theory is correct, Kidd and possibly Killer, Heat and Wire should be battling the strongest beasts in the country in order to free Loki's crew, in order to help free their own.
Fun fact, in Egghead, after Warcury used a CoC Roar, Dorry and Brogy commented on it. I believe this foreshadows the strongest beasts of Elbaph possessing Supreme King Haki Roars.
Who who do we know that needs to work on his Conquerors Haki?
I was focused on Kidd exploring the ancient tech to get buffs, but if the underworld's cave systems are full of giant beasts with supreme king haki, that's literally the best place the dude could have ended up for training.
I also fully expect Killer to get CoC because he's a baller and by far one of the best parts of Wano. Man has gotten enough parallels to Zoro enough love from this sword obsessed author to make me believe he is going to get the strongest stuff.
By fighting giant beasts with supreme king haki and exploring the ancient tech of Elbaph's Underworld, Kidd will get a sizable power up, especially considering the after mentioned time dilation, meaning he's been in this country for a while.
Expect Loki's crew and Kidd's crew to show up soon as reinforcements. Considering his ties to Shanks, I believe Kidd and Loki's Crew will emerge whenever Shamrock returns to Elbaph in this fight. Then we'll get Kidd's backstory, and he'll realize that the man who attacked his home island as a child, was not Shanks, but his brother, Shamrock.
So, like Loki, Kidd will come to hate the whole fucking family. Oohhhhhhh boy.
And soon they'll join forces with a very Zehahahaha man who also fucking despises celestial dragons
