In my oppinion this is more of onepiece that you think the art style is closer in the real life. Like this is what they would look like if onepiece is not cartoonish art style.
And This manga is also made by oda.

In this manga ace went to shanks to thank him for saving luffy. Shanks figure that ace was connected to garp and then shanks ask ace if he was roger son…
If he knew ace was roger son… does that mean that shanks didnt actually tried to stop kaido but he actually wanna went to the marineford save ace before whitebeard? but he was actually stop by kaido?


So if this what really happen… did the cp-0 did this?are they Trying to stop shanks going early to marineford? Did whitebeard knew it? Remember his line that even if you distinguished their flame someone will carry their will.. and the certain pirate that shanks wanna discuss to gorosei was ace?

There is also another component. Oden was already dead, so he could not be factually saved, rather kinda his people at best.

no according to the manga they already knew that kaido was trying to conquer wano, but whitebeard feared that there would be a huge cassualties thats why he didnt went to wano to save oden. Basically what im trying to say here is that whitebeard knew about wano before or after oden died.

No chapter 999 reveals how the Whitebeard Pirates found that Oden was dead and only after Whitebeard refused to go in war with Wano. This is what we acknowledged at least. So this is the information we have. Of course it's no guarantee that Whitebeard considered this element too when refusing but it would make a lot of sense.

First of all Kaido didn't stopped Shanks from going there. Shank arrived at Marineford. And Kaido has no reason at all for doing this. Is pretty much the opposite. Kaido wanted to fight that war and maybe die there because would be a great death and Shanks didn't allowed him to do it.

This dialogue doesn't imply at all that Shanks knew he was Roger's son. It seems that Ace was talking about Rayleigh been his father since Buggy thought Rayleigh was his uncle.
