The Big Bitch was strong but Akou extreme diff for me. Ji Aga held back on Shiryou and once he stopped doing that a sword was already through his neck and he completely wrecked Shiryou in 2 hits and gave her injuries that ultimately killed her.

Had Ji Aga gone all out right from the get go he would've crushed her 1v1.

Lakou wins in war but Shiryou extreme diff him in a duel.

The women in Kingdom is always the strongest in their respective groups/armies.

Yotanwa is the strongest fighter of the mountain tribes army. Karin is the strongest fighter (or at least physically strongest) in her army. Kyoukai is the strongest fighter of the HSU (yes, even stronger than Shin). Queen Dowager is the strongest in bed (managed to make Rou Ai cum before her everytime).

The only exception is Kyou but wasn't she died before even reaching 20s lol? Had she lived longer to her prime (about 30s) then she would have been as strong as Ouki, if not stronger.

Shiryou's lifestyle has always been martial might, and nothing else. So she gets the benefit of doubts over Akou who is both well versed in martial prowess and military tactics.

For better comparison, Akou almost got killed in a 1v2 against Gyou'Un and Bananji and failed to kill one of them. Shiryou was dominating Jiaga and Kansaro a couple of times and those two Seika generals are definitely comparable to Gyou'Un and Bananji. I know Jiaga did hold back but he went all out in the end. Even so, Shiryou managed to take out one of them before drawing her last breath.

Not to mention that Akou almost died again in a 1v2 (or 1v3 if you're counting Futei) against Gakushou and Fuuon who are inferior to Kansaro and Jiaga by feats and portrayals.

Akou extreme diff, but only because the threat level he was up against was simply higher. Shiryou technically performed better though as she got an actual kill under similar circumstances.

Akou vs Bananji 1v1 could've gone both ways as evident by Gyou'Un personally intervening to secure the outcome, with Shiryou I don't think she's quite there yet.
