Powers & Abilities Shiryu’s sword getting Dragon’s DF

In the mural of the last chapter, there was a monster on the right hand side that looks like it has Dragon’s tattoos on it.

If that is indeed Dragon’s power, I could see Teach killing him and giving the fruit to Shiryu’s sword.

Shiryu’s name has the Japanese word for dragon, Ryu, in it. And his epithet “of the rain” would make a lot of sense if he could control the weather.

Ultimately feel like this could be a viable way of making Shiryu a top tier, if that’s really what Oda wants.

Shiryu isn't that important of a character to get Kaido's DF.

He’s top 3 in OP verse with extremely busted powers and is most likely going to be Imu’s hype tool but being mid diffed will be more impressive than Nika getting help to beat Imu like the art implies.

dragon's df is the windlogia, which you can't feed to weapons. shiryu will feed his sword kaido's df.
