The smartest character(s) I’ve seen in manga, who’s extreme intelligence is shown phenomenally well,

Would be Riboku and Ousen from Kingdom. No other characters I’ve seen are as smart as these two. Characters like Light from Death Note and Lelouch from Code Geass come close, but Light is specifically written to have flaws and Lelouch is someone I really need to analyze more before I can say for sure.

I think Riboku and Ousen are absolute geniuses who would outwit any other manga characters I’ve seen. I won’t spoil anything for Seth but these are my personal top 2.

Norman - Had the entire demon world dancing to his tune. A true GOAT

William Minerva - Posthumous guidance of the children was brilliant

Phil - Could be Ray or Isabella but I like Phil more lol

Oh man this one is hard, so many meatheads in Toriko lol

Mereum - Hybrid intelligence but still counts

War Arc was hot shit but Madara big plan was something nice.

i was always really impressed by Ryo Fui.

Yang Wen li and Reinhard von Lohengramm => Riboku / Ousen.

Griffith is not half smart too.

Judging from Yellow River battle and what Riboku did just to prevent his enemies to reach their destination, I think it's not farfetched to say that Luffy and friends won't even reach Wano at all. Thousand Sunny will be sinked on her way to Wano. Either by ambush, or by little bait like ship filled with meat to lure Luffy.
It's basically game over if the villain has Riboku.

And just like how Riboku is supposed to die in history. In One Piece paralel world, imo same thing might happen to him too. Kaido the incompetent dumbass might actually do the same and execute Riboku too for trivial matter. Afterall he also killed the old grandpa / grandma with Barrier and Mane Mane fruit just because they intervened and saved his ass in duel against Oden.

How did the tag not work for me? @Topi Jerami really digging that analysis. If Riboku was actually scheming for Kaido, the World Nobles would wake up early next morning just to find a Yonko coalition at their doorstep, Riboku definitely has the required strategical foresight to round up these buffoons lol.

Actually, even Bam Yu would turn Kaido into an actual, competent commander if given the chance lol.
