Questions & Mysteries Smile Users of Kaido: What is the difference between these Smile users?

Hello community, again a new topic of me and a new question.
I reread the Zou arc and also read the chapters of Wano again, then I noticed something(I did it already in past but forget to make a thread about it).
We see multiple Smile users in Wano under Kaido crew, all of them eating the fake df power and they became to half human/half animal because of the smile power and it seems like they cannot transform back again.

Now in Zou we most like see the smile user aswell of Jack troup, but his smile user are totally different then the one which we see in Wano.
First smile user:

A Gifter of Jack troup(kinda different then the Gifters which we see in Wano) could change his hand into a wolves head, different then the one which we see in Wano.
We didn´t even see that from headliner lvl characters as Babanuki/Speed/Holdem, yet a normal gifter of Jack troup could transform his hand.

The second scene shows Jack righthand Sheepshead who we see in Zou as leader of the smile gifters:

Sheepshead do similar thing as the smile wovles user who change his hand into a wovles.
Sheepshead make horns with his hand/change them into horns, he could easily change his form like a real zoan user only with the difference that he only could transform part of his body into his smile animal power with the kinda fact that he could simple change it back to his human body parts.

Showing this, the wolves smile user and sheepshead could use perfectly their smile zoan power and can change their body forms into their animal smile zoan power.
Total different to the smile user which we see in Wano who are most time running in their half Human/half Animal body. Why the smile user under Jack and these which we see in Wano are kinda different?

Did Kaido most like improve the smile power in the lasttime and really get successful?
What your guys though about these panels and the difference between the smile users?

Maybe it's just Oda changing is mind about smile, maybe there is a difference in quality.

Kaido can't improve the power of the SMILEs, all he could do was simply buy them from Doflamingo. The SMILEs seem to be like a lottery, you either get lucky like Sheepshead or get unlucky like Holdem.

Sheepshead's Vivre Card did say he tamed the power of SMILE, and maybe that's what got him promoted to Headliner status. But it could just as easily be made up nonsense. The fact that random Wolfhead guy can transform back and forth does seem to indicate Oda made a deliberate decision to not give Wano SMILE that much control. I can't recall a single one doing something like that.

The power of SMILE is not a burden at all if you can easily put it away like that. Being a Gifter is entirely beneficial. Holdem, Dobon, Babanuki, none of these high rank subordinates should be walking around with an animal they can't control. Maybe the powers that involve animal heads are harder to control than Sheepshead or Speed who only transform into bodies.

Holdem and Babanuki look powerful enough without their SMILE, they were probably Headliners even without it like cyborg Scotch. But I like to think most of the executives got blessed with strong abilities and were consequently promoted, rather than the executives mostly getting to be the lucky 10% Gifters. We have yet to see a Headliner that's a Pleasure, most likely they lost their position and were seen as a burden.

Compared to Holdem and Dobon, Babanuki could actually control his animal.

@playa4321 Lovely thread mate ^^. I’ve also re-read both Zou & Wano but I didn’t even notice that 🙈😂. That said tho, it’s prolly why I’ve always thought that Jack’s SMILE users in Sheepshead & GinRummy have the best designs amongst the SMILE users shown thus far.

I wanna say it’s simply a case of mastering the SMILES (i.e. those that have better mastery can freely transform specific body parts into thier respective Zoans) but given random fodder in Jack’s SMILE army can do it but the likes of Babanuki can’t, I’m doubtful. In which case it could simply be a retcon by Oda. Might also be that there are several versions of the SMILE fruits, so Babanuki could have the earlier version whereas Sheepshead has the later improved version or might even be a stylistic choice amongst the SMILE users, in that some prefer to remain in a transformed state whereas others don’t but given how much pain Holdem had to endure with his Lion zoan always going after his crotch lolz, it doesn’t seem like he could freely control the transformation.

So in summary, I’m leaning more towards it either being a retcon by Oda or that there are different versions of the SMILE fruit.
