Sasori also stated that he destroyed a country with this technique IIRC? That should be far greater hype than anything the hunter dude's technique has. OBD grants him multi city block level+ destructive capacity due to that statement.

So yeah, Sasori's technique stomps.

But yeah the speed can be a concern even if those puppets never stroke me as sound + or better.

Morel can fight Cheethu (the guepar like ants) and can somewhat react to his speed. And he was quite fast in combat speed. But I don't really know how to gauge their speed compared to other verses.

So I think if we trust those sites the speed is somewhat equal. And Morel smoke troops can move as fast as him or can fight Cheethu and react to him.

And if I trust my eyes I don't think the speed is a lot different.

At the same time Morel can create 216 average dolls or 50 really good ones (with nen inside)
