Chapter Discussion So is the og crew…

#1
Are the og crew members giants now or that town meant to be for non-giant elbafians? Because the entire town is made of Legos and the places like the castle are fitting the crew’s body sizes perfectly.

It is either:
a) the crew became giants (explains why they had to change to fitting outfits, but is bad storywise if there is suddenly a magic potion that turns humans into giants when WG/VP/Ceasar been trying to do it for decades).

b) these are only townspeople of the top of the tree and they are not giants despite being Elbaf people (explains why they find the rabbit and bees huge, also good plotwise to have variety in Elbaf especially when interacting with the crew. It also explains why the places are made of Legos. Something like the giants made it for the smaller people).

Yggdrasil is the name of the place shown in this chapter so it’s safe to assume that the town made of Legos is at the top of the giant tree just like the myth (the tree we see in the chapter could be just the tip of the entire tree)

Well, not surprisingly, the scale might be a little messed up and inconsistent in places. This is still One Piece, after all.

Personally, it seems like there's different size rooms for different sized creatures in the same part of these buildings.

The room Nami is in looks like it's suited for her size. But, if you take a look at the page where Nami shocks the hedgehog and drops down to the floor where Usopp and the cat are, you can see some stairs in the background. And, to me, those stairs look like they'd be too big for Nami.

But, again, it's hard to tell due to the scale feeling a bit inconsistent. Some of the windows when everyone gets knocked out of the castle look fairly human-sized. But, the cat actually looks like he'd be too big to fit in the castle in that shot where everyone falls out of the building. It's like the cat expands or the castle shrinks once he's outside the castle.

The "Giants" seem to be drawn like actual giants. We have a lower perspective to make them all look like they might be tall. But, that might be Oda trying to trick us before we get a twist reveal, so it's hard to say. They're all being drawn from "ground level" to make them LOOK like they're tall, for whatever that's worth.

One way or another, I think the best clue is probably the bees. We see two knocked out bees around some giants, who might be standing far away, or they might be right next to them. And we also get a bee right next to Nami that she electrocutes. We probably have to compare measurements in bees.

To me, it looks like Nami is about 2 bees tall. And the "Giants" we see are about 4 bees tall. So, I think these guys ARE taller than normal humans. But, maybe shorter than regular Giants. Then again, this is One Piece and Big Humans are kind of a normal thing, like Oden or Whitebeard.

So....I dunno. I probably won't be able to tell until the Strawhats are right next to the guys in the Lego Village. Right now, I'm assuming the people in the village are giants until proven otherwise. And I think the different Lego houses are just made to accommodate a lot of different sized people and creatures.
