Yet sabo, a yonko/admiral level character, got destroyed by gorosei and Imu. Not to mention a bunch of shanks levels characters in the holy knights. And Lucci level fodder.

It's clear the Marines are just a small fraction of wgs power. Otherwise, yonkos could easily collude and take over the wg.
