I said Ji Aga might be >~ Bananji for a reason but it's just the same level of hype that guys like Kaishibou, Gaimou, Gyou'un etc have gotten before as well.

Don't think Sou'ou is a reliable source, since he never seen Moubu in action. He basically saw a great feat of power from Jiaga and compared him to the best warrior he knows without thinking too much about it.

With that said, it's not impossible for Jiaga to be above the likes of Gyou'un strength-wise.

Jiaga is definitely going to be a beast, but he ain't sniffing Moubu level

Maybe in terms of raw strength he's somewhat close, but Moubu has experience, skill, and the weight of a GG.

Can't decide between option 2 or 3.

I don't understand this aversion with subordinate generals just being that strong. Mougou had that kind of power and yet Renpa made quick work of him like he was a fool. I believe it was said about Zenou too.

It's really not that crazy and we should give the man Sou'Ou the benefit of the doubt here that he isn't some bumbling idiot that doesn't know anything. It's not like he phrased it to say Jiaga = Moubu overall.
