Synopsis:
The demon king has been defeated, and the victorious hero party returns home before disbanding. The four—mage Frieren, hero Himmel, priest Heiter, and warrior Eisen—reminisce about their decade-long journey as the moment to bid each other farewell arrives. But the passing of time is different for elves, thus Frieren witnesses her companions slowly pass away one by one.

Before his death, Heiter manages to foist a young human apprentice called Fern onto Frieren. Driven by the elf's passion for collecting a myriad of magic spells, the pair embarks on a seemingly aimless journey, revisiting the places that the heroes of yore had visited. Along their travels, Frieren slowly confronts her regrets of missed opportunities to form deeper bonds with her now-deceased comrades.

I'd call Frieren a modern day masterpiece

@Rej can tell you what those words mean especially coming from mouth
No comments lol
I watched 10 episodes for now. Enjoying it. Characterization is pretty good and has depth.
10 was the Aura kys episode, right? That was a turning point for many watchers that weren't impressed to that date. Frieren really showing their a-game with those fight animations.

Everything is getting better and more enhanced with the rest of that season 1, with the upcomming arcs.

Also I suggest to take your time with the show if you like, it will take a while for a second season to come. The manga seems also to release slowly.
More time to fully settle with the vibe. It may open doors to many other series that are fantasy but more on the social side rather than powersystems and such.
