Chapter 1062 has potential major hints from Oda about IMU’s identity and may even reveal his true form. In Ch 1062 Luffy encounter a Hologram, which he identifies as a space monster, which quite literally would make it a Celestial Dragon, Aka IMU the original CD.
Oda also leaves a hint towards this when Luffy sees the space monster it’s battling a Giant Robot. In this same arc we learn that the Iron Giant once attacked MJ, which was probably to go after IMU, making this a hint from Oda that IMU is the space Kaiju.
