Both did fairy well versus genos, I dont see there being a huge gap between the two characters here

Sonic out sped Genos with his 4 fold funeral technique. And he still had the 10 food funeral too. Genos didn't struggle with cockroach that much. I don't remember if genos got any major upgraded between Sonic fight and cockroach fight.
So I give this to Sonic

Genos wasn't going to beat Cockroach if it weren't for his glue trap. SoS doesn't have that in his arsenal.
