Star DJ is form of Diable Jambe that Sanji has used twice postimeskip. Its an irregular DJ, where the shape is in the form of a star instead of flames.

You can see SFX indicating that the heat is increasing from flame to star form. So yh it does do way more heat damage than usual as well

Well anyways....I always thought that why did Oda show Sanji's DJ in a star shape....if in the long run it would mean nothing. Until I realised Star DJ.....is just an incomplete version of Ifrit Jambe.

I realised this because at first I always thought that the lightning in Ifrit Jambe was inside the flames. However now I see that its actually the flames thats turning into a lightning shape.

Which was similar to the flames going in a star shape. But it seems like the flames goiing in a lightning shape is the completed version.

We know Sanji could never maintain Ifrit Jambe....because his body wasnt durable enough. However now it is....and thats why he was able to complete it and turn Star DJ into Ifrit Jambe

I think there's 3 variants for each stages of Jambe. The first variant of Diable Jambe was when Sanji unlocked it against Jabra where there was no fire around his legs but only heat that glows. Then there is fire surrounds his legs then there's the star shaped one. The IJ that Sanji used against Queen was probably the first variant but because he couldn't maintain it for long, IJ couldn't have better flame/lightning effect or star shaped. So if Sanji can use IJ for longer period of time, IJ will have second variant and eventually star shaped IJ.

Yeah, its like the stronger his fire gets, the less it looks like simple regular flames

You can see it's looking different here, even tho his whole body is covered in flames, not just his leg.

The star shaped one basicly losts all the flame looking style it usually has

Ifrit Jambe is a mix between flames (which we still don't know its color) and lightning, in a much clearer way.

And it looks like it started to cause literal explosions, maybe due to the amount of energy concentrated in a very small spot (his leg)?
Anyway, fact is that we haven't seen anything like that from Sanji or any other character who use fire based powers.

I think the next version will be like almost 100% composed by lightning, the flames will basically vanish, but the sensation of high temperature will increase drastically.

Especially if you keep in mind that Sanji mentioned that his acceleration increased when he used both Diable Jambe and Ifrit Jambe for the first time. But with Ifrit Jambe this was emphasized much more

The Spiral Explosion is also humongous. Hybrid Queen is probably Big Mom size...and the Explosion dwarfs him

The Exoskeleton is a mean to an end in this case, the only limitation from Sanji to increase the potency of his flames is not having a body tough enough to endure it, but as the thread says, there were hints showing that Sanji was already going through that way even before the Exoskeleton awakening. Anyway, the flames itself and the capability of increasing it's potency only comes from Sanji himself

He needed such power up in order to come up with a spin being powerful enough to generate enough momentum therefore friction in return.

Question is still open on whether or not he could have still achieved this in a future. I give that.

Interesting. So like 4 states of matter, solids, liquids, gases and plasma. But only the plasma thing is related to Sanji Lmao.
