What are your thoughts on King vs Zoro fight. Zoro first cut King with an ACoC attack when King had has flames off, we see blood coming out but when King takes his mask off there is no damage. Next we see King turn his flames on and there is still no damage to be seen from Zoro's attack. Maybe there is that line on his left side but it's really hard to make it out to confirm any lasting damage. Anyway King using Imperial Flaming Wings and yet his fire at the back is till on (more on it later).
Next we see King dodge Rengoku Onigiri even though he has his flame mode back on, his flame on his back is burning and his sword is also covered in flames. When Zoro pushes King back with CoC burst/barrier the flames are off. Zoro cuts him this time and we can see blood around the chest (I think, hard to see on the small panel). Next there is the clashing of swords and we can see King has the flames back on and Zoro asks why are you blocking now? Then King flies away with flames off after which there is the final clash and there is no flame burning on King's back.
Which of these do you most agree with?
1. Zoro finished King because he did not have his flames on
2. Zoro would have still finished King off in the same move even if his flames were on
3. King used all his flames power in the attack and Zoro cut it all so it is the same as finishing King off with his flames on
4. Zoro is too fast for King and King could not turn his flames on in time
5. King didn't think Zoro had enough AP to destroy the dragon and that's why he did not turn on the flames
Personally I think that Zoro's AP was too much for King, he dodge Rengoku Onigiri even with flames on but you can pass it off as King going for counter attack and not just dodging which lead Zoro to believe that he can only cut him when his flames were off. But after Bird dance and the exchange/clash of swords Zoro understood that King is blocking his attacks even with flames on and that's why he went for the finisher in the very next attack.
Don't sleep on Zoro's speed, other characters are wanked for speed but Zoro showed something quite spectacular here. Call it blitz or whatever but Zoro did blitz King so fast that he could not turn his flame mode back on while previously he was switching between these modes while clashing with Zoro.
