Character Discussion Teach’s portrayal is proof he’s Big Mom 2.0

No main villain gets clowned the way Teach does. Period.

The fact that even 1000+ chapters into the story, Oda still has Teach take damage from Law, is proof imo he’s just a secondary antagonist in the final saga. Aka he’s Big Mom 2.0, as opposed to the main villain of the final saga.

For reference, Doffy stomped Smoker, Law, and Sanji and I don’t believe he took damage until the midpoint of the dressrosa arc.

Kaido wasn’t damaged until act 3 of Wano.

Teach ran from Rayleigh and took damage from Law before defeating him. Yet Bepo pulled a fast one on him and Law got away from him before he could steal Law’s DF.

It’s Big Mom tier incompetence.

Now is Law strong? Of course he is. We saw him beat Big Mom. But that’s besides the point. Fact is, there’s a certain level of aura you need to have to be the main antagonist of a saga and Teach doesn’t have it.

Imu is the one who has that Doffy/Kaido aura. He commands the Gorosei from the shadows and Luffy doesn’t even know how to defeat the Gorosei.

If one character has the ability to neg diff Luffy like Kaido did in act one, it’s clearly going to be Imu, not Teach.

So yeah. Be ready for Teach to be defeated by allies. Koby and Sabo imo, but Buggy and Shanks also works.

Oda likes to clown Teach a little bit, he's not meant to be a super badass 100% of the time but that's part of his charm lol. But Oda always gives him the last laugh, he's got Luffy like plotarmor. So yea, no way he gets beat by someone else than Luffy imo.

People have to realize not everyone fights exactly the same way, Teach isn't a dodge machine, he prefers taking an attack head on because he can tank whatever comes him way, he was literally like that since his introduction.

He never even got fully knocked out in the entire series… even in his true defeats. Law is anything but a glass jaw.
