Since Laffitte has Hypnosis, I think Laffitte might be able to help Teach sleep, and can use Regressive Hypnosis Therapy to let Teach remember the truths about God Valley/the Davy Clan.
After being Domi Reversi'd on God Valley, I think Teach can now fall into this state through extreme emotions (hatred/despair), and trigger it at will, as well.
This is the "Serious Teach" that scarred Shanks, who we've never seen fight on page.
Imu Domi Reversing Teach is pointless, because Teach already got the tech from God Valley.
Buccaneer Blood + powerful pirate genetics + Devil Fruit Negation + Domi Reversi makes Teach an ACTUAL NIGHTMARE to fight.
