You know the more I look back at the previous chapters the more I feel like the issue with this fight is right in our faces, whilst we’re getting moments for our dudes on the roof, I was saying before chapter 1002 when people were saying that they’re gonna land hits on Kaido and I agreed like I mentioned that Kid, Law, Zoro and Killer would be landing hits and making moves too, I mean we haven’t see what everyone is capable of yet but I was saying “Even if they do land hits on Kaido, there’s another Yonko right there just looking at them” I mentioned how Big Mom wasn’t just going to stand still. Kaido and Big Mom are realising that these 5 aren’t as weak as the assumed but Kaido and Big Mom don’t even seem serious, I mean the major issue stands that they’re firing shots at a Yonko and leaving themselves wide open for another to attack. I mean everyone getting hit was evidence enough of this. Big Mom and Kaido have worked together, fought together, fought against each other and so on.
I feel the major issue here is that these 5 as a group aren’t used to working as a team, I mean yeah Luffy and Zoro have fought together and Law and Luffy, but there isn’t really a true essence of team work going on. Yeah they’re making use of Law’s ability but not enough. It would be cool if we get a 2v1 on each Yonko, which Law in the back providing supporting fire as his devil fruit can easily allow him to make use of the battlefield and use long range attacks. Splitting them up makes more sense that going all in for one the way they are now.
The pairing would be obvious, so Luffy:Zoro and Kid:Killer, but Oda usually does things in ways we least expect so it would be cool to see other tag teams present, I mean Zoro and Killer both going for Kaido at the start was something we were definitely going to see, and I was hoping for it, like the two of them fought before and now they’re teaming up like it was really cool to see. But I wouldn’t mind seeing some more interactions and team plays from let’s say Luffy and Killer or Kid and Zoro. The only issues is that of course the captain and vice captain teams we know already have knowledge of each other’s abilities and skills so of course it would make sense to pair up with who you’re more comfortable with. But it would be interesting to see different/unexpected pairs teaming up. Like examples the past of team attacks/ team combinations / team duos that were new, fresh, impromptu and cool to see were:
Luffy and Chopper: Heavy Stamp
Luffy and Buggy team combo against blugori
The SH group 600,000,000 belly jackpot
Frankly and Chopper Super Frapper Gong (one of my personal favourites).

I mean these were just a few of them that I could remember from the top of my head. I’m sure others could enlighten and remind me of the rest of combinations / team attacks we had in the past.
Like for example Kid and Zoro could also be an interesting duo seeing as the basis of Kids devil fruit allows him to manipulate metal. We’ve seen Kid pull himself over the sea to an enemy boat using his powers, this could be of useful in some way. Like imagine just before Zoro was hit by Big Mom, Kid moves him out of the way by moving his swords as he wasn’t able to dodge in the air. Like that could have been a cool little scene but also could have really helped. You know, it was cool seeing Luffy save Killer, imagine we have Kid save or help Zoro.
We know Luffy has always been a sucker for mech, technology, armour and such. Imagine Kid and Luffy working together instead of competing and Kid wraps Luffys limbs in metal and thus allowing Luffy to enhance his hits. I mean I’m still waiting for Kid to coat his metal limb in haki and deliver a punch with it coated but Luffy doing it is the next best thing and it would look epic.
Like with Law here we could have attacks such as their shambles red hawk but with all types of new, stronger and better attacks and thus allowing us to see more combo attacks, doesn’t even have to be just duo attacks.
What are you guys thoughts and this as a whole?

(I know it’s a bit all over the place, my bad lol but I’m typing on my phone whilst playing PS4 haha, also I would add images but cropping and moving things around on an iPhone is an absolute pain in the ass so I’ll get round to doing that and tidying up later on just wanted to get it all out whilst I had the time haha)
