Here a thread to compare two similar situations :

One time it was Ouhon vs the spears and Gyou'Un

And Shin vs Jyou Ka Ryuu and his 2 arms :

Round 1 : which situation was the most precarious for the hero ? Obviosuly without the outside help that came to same them

Round 2 : for you what is the most deadly combos between to two ? Gyou'un with 2/3 Ten spears or Kyou Ka Ryuu and his 2 arms ?

Round 3 : Gyou'Un and his 2 best spears vs Jyou Ka Ryou with his two arms ?

Not even a contest. The Raigoku was a tactic created by Rinshoujou to slay the Qin 6. It has successfully slain Generals and Great Generals of other states.

Jyoukaryuu and his arms attacking Shin was just them ganging up on Shin and not really a tactic lol.

Round 1 : which situation was the most precarious for the hero ? Obviosuly without the outside help that came to same them
Ouhon almost died from the Raigoku lol. That situation was way more precarious.

Round 2 : for you what is the most deadly combos between to two ? Gyou'un with 2/3 Ten spears or Kyou Ka Ryuu and his 2 arms ?
If it’s just 2/3 of the Ten Spears then I’d say they are comparable but the Raigoku as a tactic is far more lethal.

Round 3 : Gyou'Un and his 2 best spears vs Jyou Ka Ryou with his two arms ?
Take your pick. Of course I have to represent Gyou’Un Sama. Lol

Definitely Gyou’Un and his spears

Gyou’Un

Round 3 : Gyou'Un and his 2 best spears vs Jyou Ka Ryou with his two arms ?

Gyou’Un should be able to casually solo, he’s in an entirely different league lol

As Lee said, Ouhon was almost welcomed in the afterlife. It was the trap designed for the likes of Ouki, Hakuki, Oukutsu and co. Also it is to be noted that Ouhon was less experienced back then compared to Shin who was much more experienced in his battle against JKR.
Second one also goes to GyouUn and his ten spears as they were trained and formed that strategy unlike just ganging up against Shin.
Third round, GyouUn team stomps. Lol

Shin was almost killed too : defenseless and open to JKR blow : « it’s curtains »

And we both agree that this Shin is stronger and more experienced than Ouhon during Shukai plains . So it’s a better feat to pressure Shin than pressuring Ouhon. So JKR and arms did a better job.

Was Shin stronger? Yes. But it was the second strongest of Seika he was fighting against. And the award of the best offender goes to JKR and his team. But we’re talking about the situation that our young boys were up against and Ouhon definitely takes this one. Being less experienced and fighting for his life against so many fighters who were trained to end 6 GG.

You’re right lol for round 1 you can see it that way

even if I think the result was the same a quick death for the protag quite quickly

and Ouhon managed to kill one of the spears during his escape

But for round 2 given JKR and friends pushed a stronger Shin you can say that it’s a better feat than Gyou’Un and 2 spears
Post automatically merged:

And for round 3 Gyou Un teams isn’t stomping lol

Gyou Un is def stronger than JKR but not by an insane margin

And JKR arms seems quite strong. I don’t think the two best spears will have an easy time with them

It's sometimes forgoten that Ouhon didn't escape Raigoku on his own. He needed Kanjou to create a path from the outside. Although him surviving is definitely a great testament to his martial prowess.

Combat-wise I consider Jyou Ka Ryuu to be slightly below Gyou'un and his two arms are not enough to make a difference against 10 elite soldiers.
