Speculations The “Mother Flame” and the first world

#1
Just a quick speculation theory on the end of the first world of one piece and what the original “Mother Flame” is

Tl;Dr: The original Mother flame is a piece of the molten core of the earth. And due to mining the core, the ancient kingdom caused massive earthquakes that separated what was once Pangaea into multiple continents.

—————————————————————
Based on what we saw in the mural and what Robin read in Elbaf’s books, we are shown a few things about the first world. Namely, their technological advancement as well as the fact that they practiced slavery for labor.

Throughout the story, Oda has given us hints on the fact that all the land in the world once resided as one large Pangaea; namely the treasure we’re searching for is all the world has to offer named the one piece, a secondary treasure we’re looking for named the all blue where all the seas combine, and the name of the castle on Mariejoa itself. As such, it’s not hard to assume the world was once “one piece.”

And from Vegapunk, we also know prior to the end of the void century, the world was continental, that ultimately drowned. However, the question is how did the world move from a Pangaea to multiple continents? The books of elbaf told us the answer, “The God of the Earth Rages.”

This could be both a physical and metaphorical sentence. There very much was likely a creature the ancients considered the god of the earth; however, i believe it’s also used in a metaphorical sense to describe the splitting of the world into the continents. The main evidence comes from the passage that robin read about the second worlds demise “The Sea God Stormed.” As we know, the ocean rising was not because of a sea god alone but also the use of the ancient weapons. As such the Sea Gods storm is used metaphorically to describe the rising ocean levels turning the continental second world, into the current islands we have seen.

As such, the question of what could cause the earthquakes that were known as the Earth Gods rage? The destabilization of the earths core is imo the most likely option. Looking at the mural, we see an image of individuals on conveyor belts being lowered into the ground and returning with material they then give to the kingdom they are enslaved to. However, from what we learned from egghead, the number one thing that a nation of science needs is an infinite power source. And we’re given hints that this power source comes from the earths core.

First, we know it’s a heat based power source as Vegapunks attempt at recreating it gave birth to the Mother Flame. A powerful energy source that can power the ancient weapons; however, not one that can be used infinitely as the WG realized it could only be used one time.

Second, the first two stanzas of the passage from elbaf tell us so: “Within the earth there was fire. Mankind succumbed to greed and touched the forbidden sun.” Combining these two stanzas it reads as if mankind’s greed led them to taking from the forbidden sun deep within the earth, and the only thing within the earth that could be classified as the “forbidden sun” i can imagine is the earths molten core itself.

So now that I’ve talked about the what and why, the next question I want to pose is the where? Clearly if mankind from all this time ago was mining the earths very core, there must be after effects of it? And I believe we’ve already seen it on Ennies Lobby. In my opinion, the hole of Ennies Lobby may not be just the after effect of Uranus, rather the tunnel from the first world that was used to mine the core of the earth. And there are two main reasons for this:

1. The ancient weapon was used multiple times in the void century; however Ennies Lobby is the only hole remaining in the third world. If Ennies Lobby was because of the ancient weapons, how come we haven’t found any others? It would seem like over time the other holes refilled itself; however EL remains.

2. The sky above EL. We saw Lulusia after the attack, and the difference between it and EL is night and day. As if whatever caused EL to be a perpetually sunny island, is not connected to the ancient weapon that destroyed Lulusia at all. However, if we look back to Elbaf and what were told about the first world, “The enslaved prayed and the sun god appeared.” this could explain the perpetually sunny sky of EL. The original nika, the man who would later be deemed as the sun god, was likely one who brought the sun to the slaves and freed them earning him the title. As such, a perpetually sunny island over a large hole in the world fitting the one in the mural, it begins to add up. And it also would make sense why the WG would try to cover this up by placing the judiciary island here and making what could have been a symbol of freedom, into a symbol of their control instead.

Finally, the after effects of this theory and its relation to the story. I theorized a while ago that the One Piece is a small super powerful magnet that would recreate Pangaea. However, I want to edit that, it’s not just a small magnet, it’s a magnet that is going to fix the core that was damaged in the first world. It’s the one piece of the core that will fix the entire world.
