Why would we be seeing Imu in his glasses in this page instead of where Doffy asks where he stands?

No idea but compare it to shading on Doffys glasses right next to it. That is generic shading. Aokijis is by design, and its on both sides. You could have chalked it off to random design but the eyes are clearly drawn there. And on the other one the white part in the middle having distinct border is also by design.
