Okay this thread or posting will go over narrative issues or just things about these stories so if you are not interested in ether set of events or how they compare writing wise then you are free not to reply
Anyways this shall be going over how the other world tournament handles it's world building and plot better then the top.
I shall have 5 categories, World building,Consistency,Designs and characters

World Building
The story of this arc would be setup by grand priest showing up and announcing the tournament, This creates various problem in the god hierarchy as now we get the idea that beers and the other destruction gods would be below the grand priest which would be fine if not for the fact that we are shown that zeno directly gives them orders as seen in the tournament of destroyers arc not only that but it makes the tiering kinda unclear with the zeno guards like are they below the grand priest or above?
Dont say it's not a big deal when the entire anime of dragon ball had a autistic level of detail with the tierings had not here nor there, Also super centers around these gods so it's kinda imperative that we know how their structure works, It's not like the gods are a minor part of the show ether not only that but this arc creates seriously continuity problems with it's esblished world building as each universe would be said to have one kaioshin and another makioshin which makes no sense as we know that the dai kaioshin exists in universe and we know that zamas was the north kaio in his universe with him being set to become another supreme king/kaioshin by gowasu also why does all of them have names when that was never a thing before does only the 7th universe have people addressed by titles?
Also on a world building front, It makes no sense why all these different universes would share the same races and species when they have grown up and existed entirely separately for what amounts to millions of years.
Consistency
nonexistent like it was stated that people cannot fly in the tournament yet goku could do just that versus kelfa as could she.
Not only that but the there is a mortal stronger then the god's thing was something made up by beerus so goku could have something to strive towards beyond him with monoka being that supposed person with it later being changed to jiren with all the other gods apparently also knowing about the matter meaning that beerus lied to goku while also lying in private in whis where he would have no reason to lie. Who writes this and why would you setup the one mortal being stronger then the gods thing as a lie just to say nope it was actually true all along.
Designs
The designs are okay with alot of them being kinda bland or forgettable like the pig dude from universe 6 or jiren who just looks a physically built man. Anime allows you to create whatever designs that you could think of yet you go with fat magical girls and oversexeaulized saiyan girls as if it makes sense for a race built around combat to be dressed in such loose clothing not only that but caufifa is like a gangster or whatever in anime but she dresses with less physical protection then the literal house wife like goku wears no physical protection though well that's given context as he was born studying under asian martial arts practeriers so he wears a gi and ranfan, it's explained that she dresses that way for seduction yet the super saiyan girls have no actual reason explaining their power nor their choice in attire
Characters
Nonexistent aswell, Jiren the bland is well bland.
He wants to save people and be a hero or whatever cause his parents got killed as a boy however he abandons that ideal as he attacks random bystanders thereby making his whole shtick about justice now nonexistent.
Everyone does the tournament for self preservation also the story suffers from introducing far too many characters at one point which leads to the story being bloated as it leads to there being far too many individuals to cover hence why they had the circumstance of the tournament be wide enough that it ascribe motive to any character here also due to it's vast rooster, it also prevents development from already set up characters
OWT
World Building
One of the better arcs as it sets up the the superior of the kaios without needing the info dump that occurred in the manga, It also allows better exploration of the kaios
It also does not create any major contradictions or uncertainties with the setup god hierarchy but rather expand upon the already set up one with king kai or kaio-sama having his direct superior revealed along with his cohorts or collogues anyways pretty good it does stay largely consistent with the lore already set up
Consistency
There is some issue here or there with goku never using super saiyan kaioken on cell but this was explained well enough so not the biggest deal as his normal body couldt deal with it and he wanted to pass the torch onto gohan so that actions makes some sense retroactively also this form also would be something that you could assume goku would be able to use so it's not that bad of a as- pull unlike ultra instinct where it comes out of nowhere and there's no logical way that you could assume him to have such a form like even super saiyan despite being a inconsistent transformation in the namek saga still had alot of build up from vegeta making constant comments about the state
Designs
Pretty unique designs like the caterpillar dude or the frog man like despite this all being one universe, They did really give an effort to make these characters stand out unlike top where you couldt really tell me much artistic difference in the designs presented between say cell or za pricolo. Or as another example tarble and cabba
Characters
Pikkon while not not interesting or even that unique really has great set up with him showing up and effortlessly dealing with cell and king cold both of whom who were the strongest villains at that point, This setups how much of a threat that he can be later on and it gets the viewers excited to see what happens next, Jiren being as bland as he would be could of used any amount of setup but evidently toei cares more for writing widely despised filler arcs than parts of the story that the fandom likes
