The big mom pirates in a weird way have been the most present emperor crew in the new world despite being extremely sidelined
We first “see” her when garp introduces the concept of the 4 emperors to us tho she obviously looks a bit different. We then get a bit more hints about her in thriller bark. Lola being 1 of her kids and even giving nami her vivre card
When we finally reach fishman island we eventually find out it’s big mom territory and we get introduced to pekoms + tamago. She’s also the first emperor luffy out right challenges. Even Jinbe was under her crew still and was the main reason he c
The first island we go to in the new world ends up being punk hazard. An island just as important to the beast pirates as it was the big mom pirates. Big mom being the reason why Caesar decided to get into the kidnapping and child test subjects business. Pekoms and tamago were even watching Caesar’s live stream. Tho obviously the beast pirates were the more relevant issue for the strawhats at the time
In dressrosa they end up also showing up in order to capture Caesar. That leading to the crew crew splitting up in 2 groups the curly hat and straw hats.
Then in zou they play a massive role by taking in Sanji and Caesar. Introducing us to the idea of Sanji having a secret family, the idea of the wedding, and the biggest one being luffy going to whole cake.
Obviously they were relevant during wci lol. Tho even in an arc like wci it still felt like for most the arc they were held back by plot in some way or another for most of it
They were also in wano kinda. Most of them not allowed to play any type of role like wci but worse. Perospero got to join in on the battle on onigashima at least but big mom while relevant again felt extremely nerfed and misused
While not exactly on egghead the big mom pirates were relevant in the cover story going on during the start. We also saw pudding in the actual story itself. While not a big mom pirate stussy was first introduced during wci. I don’t think they’ll play any more of a role this arc but it’s still possible I guess
While where were not there yet they’re 100% going to be even more relevant in elbaf for better or worse. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if they stay relevant in some shape or form even post elbaf
