We all know that Usopp's name and his introduction arc are a reference to the famous tale of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".
But what a lot of us also noticed is that during his journey Usopp's other lies also turned true.
So does that hint that at his journey end he will once again called a liar and not be believed?

What made believe me it at first was his EL bounty poster which neither had his face nor his name but that was kinda shattered with his DR bounty poster which put his name on it and his face (granted at a grotesk state).
Now we also know that atleast Kaya and his former subordinates know of his feats but what about the village people? AFAIK they might not even know that he had gone with Luffy and his crew.

Let's talk about his character and where he's headed. To put it at the simplest: he is a liar who wants to become a brave warrior of the sea; a manly man if you so will.
Some people would say that being a brave warrior and liar is incompatible and that he will stop being the liar when he starts to be the brave warrior. Perhaps they are right and it truly goes that way.

But I think that Usopp could use his lies to show his new character.
Imagine this: the Epilog of OP and we see Usopp telling some fantastic tale of an adventure he expierenced to some kids or so but the guys don't believe him and go away. What does he do? He laughs it off and admits it was a lie eventhough it wasnt one.
The same Usopp who once lied simply to boast his ego or to get out of dangerous situation is now showing humility by doing what he does best.
He is still a liar but a different kind.

So what do you all think?
Will Usopp's journey end the same as his arc and "The Boy Who Cried Wolf"?
Or will he lose the status of the liar?

I'd like this. If Usopp turned it around and didn't try to make people believe his stories, and was only happy that they were the type of stories that entertained others. Or, if he decided to focus his stories on the other crewmates and was reluctant to delve into his own victories and heroism. Out of all the Straw Hats, I think I'm most excited to see Usopp's story end just so we can have him return to Syrup village and continue that life.

The scenario you’ve described would certainly represent a total 180 degree turn for Usopp...and I think that would be the perfect resolution for his tale.

I’m really hoping that when they’ve done whatever they’ll have to do in Elbaf, he’ll be inspired to the point that he becomes the courageous warrior he’s always dreamed of being. His whole “I have can’t-fight-the-bad-guys disease” shtick is wearing as thin as Sanji’s inability to control himself around women, but only the former lets their specific quirk affect them in battle.

As far as his lies go, though, he would show unbelievable maturity and development if he can handle being perceived as a liar even when he’s telling the truth. Just like Mont Blanc Noland, who accepted his execution like a true man despite the knowledge that he wasn’t being dishonest about the city of gold, him being confident in himself and aware of who he is would be the greatest outcome for his character.
