Speculations The closing of Wano and Why ZKK was not meant to be

ZKK was possible and the theory was actually quite good. I liked it too but i couldn't make myself believe it 100% so that is why i made posts about it in a neutral way explaining why it should and shouldn't happen by the current chapter at the time. So i am gonna break down my final thoughts in a few sections

The Samurai Soul​

The main point for me that it made me think its possible is the idea That Kaido have broken the Samurai Soul and Wano kept hinting that the Samurai are lost and no Samurai is strong enough to show the world yet again how formidable they were.

The Scabbards​

The scabbards have gone at it in the wrong way. They said the word Sunacchi which means forget ones name etc. And Kaido called them out for their bravado charge for revenge and he was right. Their resolve wasn't great enough because all they wanted is to kill Kaido and avenge Oden and return Wano to its people. This isn't what Oden asked of them. Their resolve was still isolated.

The Strong Samurai Leader​

Enters Zoro. His story line was centered around him to see the state of Wano. To give him a motivation to help. Everything he said he would do before Wano was done by Luffy and still even tho Luffy did help recruit the Samurai. The story chose Momo over Luffy and Hyo to actually move the plot forwards and assemble the army around the idea of Momo the next Shogun. There were many opportunities for Oda to highlight Zoro as the Strong Samurai Wano was waiting for. But he didn't even the moment Momo shouted his name it was an invisible hero that saved him not a "Strong Samurai". Finally the moment Hyo hinted at Zoro's origin Oda decided for Zoro to not be in the presence of at least the floor where all the Samurai were. He decided that Zoro should fight someone who hides his face without having anyone witness anything. And finally have him alone for the reminder of the battle.

Wano the Isolated Country​

I think many of ZKK theorist have overlooked one aspect of the story of Wano. The whole drive of the theory was to recreate the legend and make Wano the Samurai land it was in the past. While the whole idea is great and cool but it wouldn't have solved the main issue behind the "isolated country". Oda writes his stories with a big thematic impact at the end of each arc. Wano as a country was isolated from the rest of the world and thru Oden's flashback we have seen the state the country was in. Racism towards outsiders, old grudges, and old governing systems etc. The solution Oda chose was the reset from Zero. How? have "Joyboy" who isn't a samurai to help save Wano which would open their eyes and ease the idea of opening Wano. And finally have a freaking Pink Dragon as their new Shogun not a Strong Samurai Swordsman that they thought Momo would be. This way Wano has actually changed and overtime they will be ready to receive Funny Luffy as their new God.

In short Wano was supposed to be reset as a country and start a new under Pink Dragon Mom the future Strongest Swords Man

But then Wano ended still being an isolated country. So your argument makes no sense.

No reason for not having ZKK now but is quite clear that Oda is saving Kaido's awakening for later. ZKK still happening just not now and won't be that great either.

Oh yes they are still isolated but the air is clear there and they are now open to the idea because JoyBoy has saved them. I am not even presenting argument here its only my thought of why ZKK was shelved.

Since the idea of One Piece is liberating each country from the shackles that binds them.
Take Skypiea for instance. Its their beliefs that kept them at each others throats not Enel.

Now look at Wano again. Kaido was only there because he was Strong but the issue was present long before Kaido took over. The Koruzomi clan etc.

The wano will be changed into the land of laughter cause wano the first country to be protected officially by joyboy.
