It's just speculation but in two different occasions a giant egg was vaguely shown on the Kidd Pirates deck

Kinda suspicious. Do you think it's related to what Kidd stole from Big Mom territory? Is it something else? Or is Oda just trolling us?

Oda is absolutely trolling us, but that doesn’t mean whatever’s in the egg isn’t relevant to the story

If I had to guess, I’d say it could be a Sea King that only hatches every couple hundred of years and is explicitly meant to guide Joyboy or his current incarnation to Laugh Tale so they can uncover the world’s mysteries. Since it’ll only obey Joyboy or the next closest thing, it won’t listen to Kidd once hatched and will probably recognize Luffy right away before fulfilling its purpose.

It’s hard to say. The polka dots aren’t as pronounced as the ones on Roger’s ship.

Though if it is related to what he stole from Linlin, why didn’t Kaido and his crew confiscate it? Or did Kid steal it back at the same time he gathered his crew back together?

If so, he’s certainly really good at looting like a pirate.
